I love Tai or Tye she is absolutely amazing !!! It was my first time at this location and her hospitality is great. The chicken and waffles was the best i ever had and i live in the south. This was hands down the best chicken and waffles with great customer service. Customer service is quickly dying and it was nice to see that Tye is upholding it!

So my mom and me decide to go to Sloppy Waffle for the first time. When we walk in the people that worked their acted as if we weren't there. Me not knowing that you have to order and pay first I go ahead to find a set. One of the girl yelled out to us in the middle of her conversation to say she will be with us, after the fact that i had already found a table. She continued on with her conversation. My mom went to the front to ask if someone can help us and they explained we have to pay then sit down. That's one of the things that turned me off, then when we order a girl comes to the front and takes our orders no hello or no type of friendly greeting so I said hello first still nothing. She then leans against the counter like she was at home. Just too relaxed smh .She asked my mom who name the order will be under and She said Belinda the girl made some type of weird face and said what! as if my mother had said something crazy so I repeated her name and even spelled it. So fast forward we order we ask for drinks my mom wanted a water with lemon and i wanted apple juice they didn't have anything in bottles all poured in cups with no ice just ghetto. So my mom ask for ice and again she acted as if it was an issue. Now we get our food OMG! We both order chicken and waffles they pour so much syrup on the chicken and the waffles are so soggy $30 bucks wasted. My food was so sweet I couldn't even eat it. When I first seen that this restaurant was ran by mostly black people I was happy to see that until i received the worse service. The girl had the nerve to ask if we were leaving a tip on the card or table. For what is my question. Horrible Service Chicken was well seasoned they killed it with the syrup I felt like I was gonna have a heart attack! I'd never give them my business again Also home fries HORRIBLE NO FLAVOR . This establishment could possibly have potential if they had better customer service and put syrup on the tables we can do it ourselves.

The food is to die for here. I have tried the strawberry waffle, chocolate lovers and the chicken and waffles which are the absolute best i have ever had. The staff is friendly, the food is all organic. This is an absolute must try. The regular size waffle may look small compared to what you are used to at the typical diner or breakfast restaurant, but it is extremely filling. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is it is extremely disorganized. You don’t sit down and order like a typical restaurant you get seated and then you go up to the front to order, if you ask for tea they will give you cups but no water, you have to ask for hot water a few times as well as silverware. It is a bit of a weird vibe but do not let that shy you away. I feel that they would be way better if they just had waitresses instead of the person at the front having to do everything. But the staff is very friendly and the food is amazing highly recommend.

Very disappointing. They need to reconsider their pricing. We ordered four regular meals ($8-$10 each), but the waffle plates were pitiful. The waffles were half waffles with very little toppings. Waffles cost almost nothing to make. They didn't even come with a side. The juice and chocolate milk were giant servings with giant prices. I paid $10 for four drinks. Plus, we had to bus our own table. I could have gone to Denney's, paid less, got more, and received better service. We will not be back. I feel like I got ripped off. Breakfast is the cheapest meal of the day. If you want families to come back to your restaurant, you need to adjust your pricing. On a positive, the Sloppy Waffle meal was large and satisfying. They need to up their game on their waffle meals.
