This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I tried beers from Caius Farm during beer festivals before, but this was my first visit to the brewery.
The brewery is located in a separate building with a big parking lot. There is one big room inside and a patio outside. No food kitchen is available, but there might be food trucks onsite. There were many different beers available during my visit. Beer flights are not offered, but short pours are available. For this review I tried the majority of the beers they had during my visit. I really enjoyed them. All the beers are names in a common Greek/Latin theme. All of them were solid and tasty. But I especially love that Caius brewery is not shy to experiment with beers. As a result, you can find weird styles like Etruscan Wild Ale, or try a milk pour of your favorite German-style beer. One of the bottles I bought even had they limited edition beer with zero carbonation - all the part of this experimentation. I always admire breweries that do so. My favorite beers for the day were their Barrel Aged Imperial Stouts - Queen Beatrice and Elagabalus. The former was especially smooth and layered, since it was conditioned in multiple different barrels.
I absolutely recommend this place to any craft beer enthusiast around. It deserves a dedicated trip to enjoy the new flavors.
Amazing atmosphere for a nice evening. The art on the walls is an attraction in its self. The IPA selection is easy to maneuver with the experienced staff to explain notes and brew with the assist of samples. Overall great experience.
One of the best local breweries in CT, great beer, good selection of rotating food trucks, live music and AWESOME staff! My wife and I love that they are dog friendly since we bring our corgi and can enjoy everything Caius has to offer. Have always had a great experience here and will be going back regularly 🍻
Everything was phenomenal
Kind, informative staff and delicious brews!
Such a delightful spot! Excellent beer (special shout: the sour beer was delicious), and the outdoor area felt tucked away from it all + was beautiful.
Great selection of ipas and lagers, bartenders were friendly, and the brewery itself was beautiful. Definitely worth a stop!
Best sour hands down! We sat outside with our dog.

Great beers, great vibes
A friendly staff at Caius Farm Brewery serve a wide variety of excellent craft beer, including IPAs, lagers, pilsners, kolsch, sours and stouts in a beautiful top room with a scenic outdoor patio. They also offer wine and sodas. In the taproom you can enjoy some fresh popcorn or a meal from a local food truck. You should definitely take a trip to Branford. I have yet to drink a beer I didn't love.
Great place! Friendly staff and good beer. Blueberry sour was amazing!!
Fantastic beers and atmosphere
Service and beer are excellent. Find the yellow rubber duck on the patron side of the taproom for a free beer
