I stopped for the night and had the pizza. its right up there with the best. If I had to choose between Them ,Pepes and modern ID pick them.

One of the best buffalo chicken pizzas that I've had. Also, their gluten free pizza is really good which I cannot say about most pizza places. Overall, solid New Haven style pizza from this place.

After hearing good things about this place, I finally made it there to try the pizza. The service at the bar was very good and the pizza slices are generous. The Pepperoni slice had 35 slices on it.! Very good overall experience.

Don’t waste your time. There are much better dining experiences and pizza to be had elsewhere. The dining room is frigid (I had to wear my coat the entire time we were there. My eggplant was lukewarm and super salty and the pizza took forever to come out despite the fact that the restaurant wasn’t busy.

Wow. This place is fantastic. From the moment we walked in, it was a comfortable atmosphere. It only got better from there. Great service. Great food. We ordered 3 medium pizzas ? but so perfectly done and amazingly thin which is the only way I will eat it. Great wine ? selection. Had 2 of my favorites on the menu. This is definitely on the go back really soon again and again. Thanks for a great time. You must check it out.

I have visited this location to eat in the dining room on three different occasions. Sadly, only one of those visits was positive. The first visit, the service was good but the food failed. The pizza had one side that was burnt and tasted like cardboard while the other side was undercooked. The second visit was the best visit with attentive and friendly service, as well as a pizza that was not over or undercooked and tasted very good.
The last visit, which was this past weekend, was awful. The service was basically non-existent. The waitresses were more concerned with moving people around in the dining room than they were with serving the tables. They were making parties sit at one larger table to wait for a smaller table to come open before they would even take their order. This led to other tables being forgotten since our drinks were never refilled and our waitress never checked in. There was a young boy working there, who was working harder than any of the waitresses because all they cared about was moving tables. The pizza was once again burnt on one side and undercooked on the other.
While, I can completely understand trying to maximize the space that you have for those dining in, there should also be a realistic take on going to a restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night for both the restaurant and patron. Reality is you may have to wait or pick a different place if it's too busy.
I always wanted small businesses to succeed and I hope this place does, however I can't say I would rush back after this last experience.
Omg this Pizza joint is Outstanding! Staff is great and definitely work as a team. Angie is my favorite, along with the clam pizza.

Restaurant was too.i couldn't see my food.Its a good thing too.my medium sausage mozzarella cheese pizza was like cardboard and I needed microscope to see the sausage that I paid extra.i was very disappointed.i eat there on Friday June 21 at dinner time.it was a very disappointing meal.

I just picked up my take out from Capone's in Branford. I have trouble finding a great salad and i gave up for the longest time! But today with the heat i wanted something cool. I ordered the Healthy Choice salad and oh my goodness. The container is packed full and so fresh. I love the dressing! - Creamy Italian. The only next best thing would be adding fries to the salad ;) I'm from the Pittsburgh area, haha...If you know, you know!

Our first time here, and I was impressed by the Cesar Salad. It was really good and actually had shaved parmesan like it said in the menu. I have been to many places and so disappointed. I will be back.

Phenomenal pizza place, it's a bit hidden and I'm not sure how it's not more known but this is right up there with the new haven greats. I highly recommend. Waitresses we're also great with service, everything was taken care of and on top of it, not a long Wait.
