Friendly and clean. Food is over priced and is your average American Chinese food. Hot and Sour soup good. Lunch is not really a special. Don't recommend bonelass spare ribs. They were tasty but hard and chewey. Eggroll and shrimp roll are small and not much filling. ?

I tried this place tonight. They are a little more expensive than the average Chinese takeout, but well worth it. One of the best Chinese restaurants I've tried. Has been a while since I found a place where I really enjoyed their Chinese food. I definitely recommend you try them.

This is a clean and decent neighborhood spot with friendly employees. The employees will reciprocate the respect you extend to them. Highly recommend the vegetable lo mein.

I have eaten good Chinese, fair Chinese Food and today I was served truly, amazingly awful Chinese food. I ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, this was a favorite of my late wife, so I had good feelings until the food came. The lobster sauce was a gelatinous mess it was hard to tell how the shrimp were cooked, everything was so salty that I could have emptied a horse trough to quench my thirst, The person running the place was aloof. The only good thing was leaving the premises. Truly a never again experience

This is a local, mostly take-out Chinese restaurant in Branford, CT. Other Yelp reviewers have noted that the owner is very affable; and I can attest to that, having seen several 'regulars' come I. For their orders. I'm new to the place. I liked their rendition of Singapore mei fun: large portion, plenty of shrimp, chicken, pork. Spice level was nice to my taste. Fried dumplings were good. Although slightly thick for my taste, filling was nicely made with a bit more aromatics (ginger?) than usual. Hunan Beef was a winner. Spicier than I had expected, no criticism no be clear, I enjoyed the tender beef pieces with the many varied veggies. Cold Sesame Noodles were OK. A favorite of mine, I wished for more...but life is not perfect. Basically, this is a solid establishment that will not disappoint.

The food is good, but it’s pricey and for some reason every time I go in, the owner is very stand offish towards me. I see everyone else has had a pleasant experience, but I don’t receive the same treatment. I pay a lot of money for the food, in my opinion the least the owner can do is be friendly. The lady who works there is very nice though and makes me feel comfortable ordering food. I’ve only gone back because the food is delicious, but aside from that I don’t think I will visit again. Don’t need to feel like I’m constantly offending the owner when all I’m doing is trying to purchase food
