Stopped for breakfast after an early weekday appointment in Branford. It's bigger inside that it looks from the road, and had about 20 tables. They seem to be big supporters of the local high school sports teams, which I admire. The menu is on the chalkboard, but no prices. Order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. We were shocked that the cost for two omelets and one cup of coffee in a diner was about $35.
Server brought food out reasonably quickly. Omelets came with toast and a side of homefries. Omelets were good, but far from great. The mountain of homefries may have been sitting under the heat lamps too long as they were hard, dried out and had a very thick layer of a salt/spice mixture that made them almost inedible. Overall, a decent breakfast, but I expected better quality for the price.

How can a restaurant have NO PRICES posted anywhere? Prices are not listed on their wall board or their menus!! People have yo wait in line and ask at the counter while holding everyone up. I’ll never go back there again!!!
