Been coming to this restuarant for over 40 years. It has not changed. Best hibachi around. Entertaining.. amazing noodles and shrimp appetizer. Soup has not changed at all since I was little. Definitely a must in the shoreline area!

Went here last night for Girls Night/my BFF's birthday. Good food, entertaining hibachi chef with adorable personality. I got the sushi while my friends got hibachi, but one friend gave me her mushrooms she didn't want and they were delicious. I also asked for a piece of white tuna sashimi, but was given the tuna sashimi. I didn't complain though, the waitress may have not heard me either due to surrounding conversation, or because sometimes I am too quiet. I ate it, and it was fresh and tasty. Volcano Bowl I shared with my BFF could have been a bit stronger, but maybe I just had a high tolerance, lol. We got particularly rowdy and animated after a few drinks, arguing about whether or not 'Die Hard' is a Xmas movie or not (it IS, by the way), and the bartender came over because she said we seemed fun and she wanted to join, which I thought was cute. (Maybe her way of making sure we weren't going to get too obnoxious, but it was funny and came off as sweet. She was a hoot.) Our waitress was also sweet. Towards the end of our meal they gave us complimentary glasses of plum wine, I assume because of my BFF's birthday, which I gushed about and asked them what brand they used because it was so much crisper and palatable than other plum wines I've had. The bartender was kind enough to show me the bottle. The atmosphere is super low key. I like the structure in the entrance way. Definitely would return here. 😊

I have been going here for over 25 years. The food is fantastic. The staff is wonderful. Perfect place for date night, family dinner or just out with friends. Prices are more than reasonable. If you decide to visit the bar the bartender Suzanne makes very delicious drinks. You can not go wrong. This restaurant is a must try.....

So this place gave us food poisoning 10 years ago but we tried it again.
I just spent two hours and fifty two minutes at this place. Reservation for 6pm but they also took reservations for 6pm for 2 other parties. No big deal but they only had two chefs on staff plus regular walk in customers. We sat at our hibachi and waited 35 minutes for drinks, 90 minutes for the soup, 110 for salad, and finally 2:52 for the entire deal. During the 90 minutes waiting for soup they never checked in for drink refills or what have you. Food was good so I can’t complain there. Trying to get this bill paid for so we could get out of there and they gave us our check back with a credit card from another table with our bill paid for with that card. This set us back another 20 minutes trying to get that guy refunded. After a 3 hour experience I was delighted to see that the owner didn’t even think to maybe discount our bill a few bucks. They still charged me the refill for my Diet Coke to the tune of $4!

this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. But every time I’ve been here, i’ve spent the rest of the night with extreme stomach pain and in the bathroom. The food taste good but not worth the stomach issues. I’ve had other hibachi spots and never had stomach issues because of the food. My friends also have stomach aches after eating here. They also do not devain the shrimp (at least not well at all!) which i find absolutely disgusting. I once received an entire order of shrimp that was not devained. The staff is nice. It’s a shame that the food isn’t very good quality.

We went Easter night Chow was our server and Tom was the chef it was phenomenal. There was not one thing I could say negative. Tom was one of the best chefs we have head. Entertaining would be putting it mildly. Thank you all for the ???night.

Wow I was amazed at the service and food. We were a group of 6. My first time having a hibachi styled meal. My friends have been to other hibachi and they also agreed that the food here was better. Drinks were also good.Happy to be back soon.
First time there with my husband and son and it was great ! Will be going again !!

Reservation at 6PM. Not served until 750PM. Really no excuse to accept reservations if you can't serve them in a timely manner. There were a couple of waitresses who did not seem interested in waitressing. I understand not having help and how it can impact a business but don't take reservations if you can't serve the customers. The food was great and the hibachi chefs were as well.
