Such high expectations....so disappointing. The portions are NOT French portions (not particularly good either) expecting a palate pleasing experience ...you will be sorely disappointed. Listening to the surrounding tables it seemed to be more of a status symbol to say you ate at "le petit cafe" in my world I wanted to tell everyone about the most amazing meal. Unfortunately that was not to be.
Beautiful dinner. Always wonderful food.
Chef Roy is so incredibly kind and talented. My family moved away from CT years ago, but we still always talk about how much we missing coming here! The service, food, and atmosphere are incomparable. You will never ever regret dining at Le Petit.
Duck confit was incredible, pork chop was delicious, and one of the best creme brulees I've ever had. Also they were great in accommodating a gluten allergy, would definitely recommend trying here!
A wonderful experience - beautifully prepared food combined with gracious, efficient service. I can’t wait to return!
Prix fix menu. All the courses were amazing, simply and beautifully balanced. Service was a little uneven, seems like the servers were all shy students. Atmosphere was a bit like eating inside a jumble shop.
We had a wonderful, delicious dinner last night. Service was outstanding and very accommodating and professional. And the food; oh my. I had Chilean Sea bass and my husband had New York strip. All impeccably cooked and presented. The appetizers were very delicious and the crème brûlée’s was awesome. Had to take bass and crème brûlée home and they were equally great today. Check it out if you haven’t already!
I took a good friend here for his birthday ? and it was a great time. The food was especially tasty and my friend enjoyed it immensely.
The service the food the hostess, the chef we're all amazing. One of the best restaurants my wife and myself have been to.
Excellent from the start to the finish. The fixed menu has only a few but excellent options (which we prefer over a menu with 100s of options). Everything is fresh and made at the premises. The wine list is so short, but just right and excellent. Good service and a very correct price. We will be back for sure!

A uniquely evocative French brasserie experience. The cozy, understated interior highlights the authentic and thoughtful prix fixe offerings. Chef Ip's commitment to his craft is evident in the air of exclusivity and quiet confidence that oozes from Le Petit Café. Must call for reservations.
Mediocre food. Rude service. Careless management. The waitress hovered at our table with a precarious tray-load of dirty dishes above our heads while she waited for us to choose our order. I politely asked her to come back, but she refused. She was hostile and curt the rest of the evening. I addressed this service issue to management after we paid (and tipped, regardless) but they were indifferent. Life is too short and choices too abundant to ever waste time here again.
Sweet venue. Excellent service. Food was delicious. Never felt rushed or ignored. Pricey but worth it. A lovely change from our usual haunts.
Excellent food and great atmosphere.
