It’s a decent place but way overpriced for food and drink. Most of the people in there are looking down at you. They think their stuff doesn’t stink. St. Patrick’s day is a bloody mess. Go somewhere else for better food. It’s one of the biggest ripoff’s in CT.

On A Positive Note: I enjoyed the fried platter.

The shrimp, oysters, and scallops were moist, tasty and fried to perfection. I did not care for the batter on the fish but this is most likely a personal preference. I was able to swap the fries for a baked potato: The coleslaw was sweet and creamy.

While I enjoyed the consistency of the pina coloda, I did not taste any alcohol. I will skip this on my next visit. My friend and I shared a slice of pumpkin cognac cheesecake. We both enjoyed it very much.It was light and creamy.

The Verdict: I will revisit this establishment soon.

Update 12-3-24

I enjoyed my first visit so much that I retuned sooner than planned. While the food is tasty, the fried oysters were a bit too soft. They will be perfect upon reheating in the air fryer. I’m extremely disappointed in the pumpkin cognac cheesecake (compare the photos for yourself.)

I deducted a star from my original review. Presentation is important. While I may excuse the whipped cream, there is no acceptable excuse for the missing sauce. I’m disappointed.

Kid-friendliness: Baby changing station in the bathroom. Unfortunately, there is only one stall. I experienced a wait.

We visited, not knowing what to expect. The wait was very long and we were extremely hungry (with a 4 year old on the verge of losing it the later it got).

Once the were seated, the wait was completely worth it! Everyone loved their meals and I could have ordered seconds on the hot lobster roll!

We don't live close, but I can't wait to visit to eat there again!

Awesome place for seafood and drinks. Recommend going early as this place is popular with the locals. The food is great. I love the Blackened Swordfish.

What a great spot! Great views from the deck coupled with great food make this spot a winner. We stopped in on the way down I95, it’s a short drive off of the highway but well worth it, and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere and the staff. Then the food came, outstanding! We love lobster rolls and Lenny’s didn’t disappoint. Hot buttery lobster greatness and the fries are outstanding. We’ll defiantly be back probably on a drive with the sole purpose of having lunch there again!

Delicious, plentiful seafood dishes, service is excellent, and menu items for meat eaters too. We were there several times and were always pleased. Seafood casserole was the BEST I have ever had.

Should have gone to Stowes!!!!
We did try a second time, wanted chowder and a side order of fish. Were told we could get just the fish but had to pay full price!!!
No side orders and no cups of chowder.
Just a bowl of watery bland supposedly chowder!

Never again!!’

It’s too bad I have to give at least 1 Star!
Our food was less than bad. The service was worse. Our server was disorganized and extremely rude and argumentative. We won’t be back!!!!!

Not only was the food far too expensive for what it was, it was totally uninteresting. After eating at the Dog Watch Cafe in Stonington, where the scallops were amazing, the scallops at Lenny's were twice as expensive and tasteless. The baked scrod was ok, but nothing to write home about. Lunch here for 2 people was over $70 (no drinks, no appetizers).
The outdoor music was so loud, we could hardly hear eachother.
