I live about 40-50 minutes away from the bakery but my boyfriend is on the job as a firefighter and I was going to visit, wanted to bring sweets to him and the crew. The co-owner was so nice and welcoming. The crew had nothing but great things to say about the cupcakes/cookies I brought and I loved how many different kind of cupcakes they had. I also loved how I was told about how the husband (I'm not sure of either of their names I'm sorry) makes lunches and was introduced to that menu. I will be back in the area to visit and will definitely stop back in. Customer service 10/10

Love, a perfectly titled shop for the love I have for their cupcakes and food. This place my one stop shop for gluttony. To begin, there's an array of cupcakes on display and they're all perfect. I'll admit that once, I bought a lemon cupcake that tasted like metal, but I think it was a fluke -- maybe they mistakenly used metal instead of plastic that day. Overall, Love's cupcakes are fluffy, moist, and lightly sweetened -- something I struggle to find elsewhere! It's the only place where I eat the whole cupcake without feeling overwhelmed by the sugar content. Next, you have their food On Fridays (and Saturdays, I just learned) they serve pernil. It's Puerto Rican pulled pork with rice and peas. For Puerto Ricans out there, this'll probably taste like your abuela's arroz con gandulez. The man in the kitchen obviously cooks with love. Ha! LOVE! I also learned this place does catering and makes wedding cakes. I bring these cupcakes to all my events because they're just that great. So visit this little shop in Branford. Literally, what's not to love?

Incredible service, food and cupcakes. Everyone enjoys a cup cake every once and in a while. They are delicious and I recommend you try the paninis! I had the steak and cheese. Great flavor and enjoy looking forward to seasonal cupcakes!

atmosphere is meh, and I was charger for a handful of chips after the server told me it comes with the sandwich. When confronted after the bill arrived, the waitress laughed. They also charge for boxes when ordering cupcakes in a full order. Not really feeling the love from “Love Bakery”

I got a BLT salad and a Beet salad with goat cheese, both of which were generous enough for two. The cupcakes are on the small side but pretty and tasty. Service was excellent every time I went, I wish I was still working on the shoreline so I could eat here more often, it's 5 star worthy.

This little spot was a great find. Was looking for a place to grab a quick bite before going to the hair dresser in the same plaza. OMG what a wonderful place. Had the grilled cheese and picked up a couple of the cupcakes and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was absolutely delicious.

The girl at the counter was very nice, she helped me pick out some cupcakes for my husband's birthday. I had never been there and she also answered some of my questions about their lunch menu. I would definitely order cake or cupcakes from here again. Their buttercream frosting is light and not too sweet and the cakes were fluffy.

I absolutely LOVE this place. My mom and I always get the pernil with rice and beans, the foods always fresh and tastes great! But the best part about going to love bakery isn’t just the food. It’s the service !! The owners are awesome!! Highly recommend !! ❤️
