My wife and I decided to try Pompeo's based on decent reviews. It was a Friday night 12/15/23 and the restaurant should have been somewhat busy. We arrived at 4:30 and no one else was there besides us. We figured we were just early but by the time we left about 5:20 there were still no other customers. The owner Pompeo was there as was I believe his wife who was our waitress. There was no other staff. The other side of the dining room was blocked off but I looked and saw a few pool tables. Later we saw a sign outside that said a billiard and bar was coming soon. Anyway the dining room was darker that it should be. There was music but at a volume so low we could barely hear it even though no one else was there. As far as the food, we ordered mozzarella sticks for appetizers. They were good no issues here. For dinner I ordered the Fra Diablo pasta with clams and muscles. The sauce was tasty but very thin. The clams and muscles were cooked good and overall I enjoyed the dish. My wife ordered ravioli but after eating some of it she remarked that it lacked taste and was not enjoyable. It seems to me that this restaurant is either closing or transitioning. Either way I cannot recommend it.

Absolutely delicious food. Shrimp fra diavolo was unbelievable, bread was definitely fresh baked... I knew this place was good when I saw the little old Italian lady all alone in there at 830 on a Wednesday. This is real deal Italian food !

We had a private event here, buffet style we had many options to choose from and all the food was very good. We had a chicken, fish and pasta option also stuffed breads, roasted potatoes and salad for $21 a person

Most importantly, the food was fresh and tasty! We went for an early dinner and were the only customers there so we were apprehensive. Turns out that meant we got all the attention from the little old lady in the kitchen! She served us like we were family! Loved it. Good food. Clean. Food was hot. Service great.

Use this restaurant for a baby shower, food was excellent, customer service was helpful and cooperative at all times...The chicken and eggplant was terrific, my guests raved about the food! Would recommend Pompeo for all your party needs! Thanks so much for making this rainy day party a huge success! Can't wait to order again!

I actually found Pompeo’s on Google Maps minutes before driving into their parking lot. My wife and I noticed there was only one other car in the lot at around 6pm on a Saturday! She thought that was a bad sign and wanted to leave. My brother and sister-in-law were in the car next to us and also hesitated. I encouraged all to give the place a chance, plus it was raining and I didn’t want to drive around looking for another Italian restaurant. We stepped inside and didn’t see a soul in sight. We called out a lone woman who I believe was the owner came out and seated us. She was the only person we saw in the restaurant the entire time we were there. She was wonderful and attended to our needs and we all enjoyed talking with her every time she came out with a drink or dish. We couldn’t figure out why the place was empty on a Saturday night as the food was excellent! If you’ve read my previous restaurant reviews, you know my German wife is extremely picky about restaurant food because she’s a great cook in her own right. Well, she loved her penne ala vodka and took half home and ate it for lunch the next day and she NEVER does that! I loved the flavor of my Margherita pizza with ham, however, I was disappointed that it didn’t come with fresh cut tomatoes and basil. The calamari appetizer was delicious, but a little on the salty side. My brother loved his Veal w/pasta and my sister-in-law loved her stuffed cod w/broccoli. The prices for the dishes were very reasonable in the mid teens and plentiful. I would love to keep Pompeo’s to myself and not share them to the public because it was nice to not having to wait in line or spend an arm and a leg for their delicious food. Go check them out and you’ll thank me later. Oh, and did I mention the warm fresh Italian bread and fresh house salad?

Just had my bridal shower here- the food was delicious but the owner is very sneaky and charged us for people we didn’t have and was not clear on communication. Overcharged $200. Beware and count your place settings at the beginning of the meal. Check and double check
Came here for Christmas party, and they served buffet . Started with a spinach salad, which was loaded with cucumbers, olives, and tomatoes. Next was ziti with vodka sauce. The sauce was a little thin and could've been thicker. Next was a very tasty meatballs in a very light sauce, which could've been thicker also. Next was eggplant roll a teeny, which was very good in a nice thick tomato sauce. Next we had chicken marsala with mushrooms, and it could've had more of a marsala taste. We then had stuff soul, which was absolutely out of this world. We had some delicious oven Baked potatoes . We finished off with thin, sliced roast beef that was very good. The table had some nice crusty bread, which was soft in the middle, and the butter was not hard on the table. They also had a dish of stuffed bread. I had the broccoli bread and enjoyed it. The service was very good and efficient . This restaurant has offstreet parking right off of Route one , conveniently located.

Love Pompeos resturant . This is a family owned run business by the adorable couple Pompeo and his wife lovely wife Dominica. They have been in business way back as far as Danny's Pizzeria. You get all food prepared by Pompeo himself and organized events by Dominica. There prices are very reasonable service is great. I highly recommend this restaurant for planning your events. Leave it up to them to provide memorable occasion, for any of your get together occasion's. Or just leave the cooking to them and pick out and pick up food trays for holiday events. Or just pop in for a intimate dinner or take out. You wont be disappointed.
