What an amazing find on the shoreline. We absolutely love this restaurant. We've tried several Italian restaurants outside of New Haven, and this one is by far the best. It's a cozy intimate setting, good for a date night or a small get-together, and there's also a nice bar space. The food is delicious, well made, and great variety. The cocktails and wines (including their house wines!) are wonderful and priced well. The staff are always friendly and generous...
First time there and hopefully not last. Food was excellent as were portion sizes. Service was attentive although they did bring out the incorrect entree to one of our party. There was an ongoing issue with the heat. Restaurant would warm up and then get really cold. My wife and the other woman in our party got uncomfortable several times during the meal. The other issue was the acoustics. It was so loud when restaurant as full that you had to yell across the table for conversation....
