Each visit to Shoreline Cafe is a great one. Whether I'm picking up take-out or eating in the restaurant with family I know I'm in for a great meal. I've consistently had great service and food here to the point where I bring all my out of town friends in when they come visit.
As it relates to the menu, there is a ton of different options including a salad bar and even some of the best and biggest cookies around.

Terrible Experience — Would Not Recommend
I recently visited Shoreline Cafe and Catering in Branford, CT, and was incredibly disappointed by both the product quality and the customer service. I purchased four cookies ($5) at a total price of $20, expecting fresh, quality baked goods. Unfortunately, the cookies were clearly stale. I politely asked for a refund or even a partial discount, and the response from the manager was shockingly unprofessional.
She refused any form of refund, claiming that by trying the cookies, I had “eaten” them, and therefore was not entitled to anything. When I explained they were inedible and I had no intention of keeping them, she dismissed my concern entirely and told me it was my problem if I chose to throw them away. There was no apology, no empathy just rudeness and a complete lack of basic customer service.
This experience left a terrible impression. I will not be returning to Shoreline Cafe and I would caution others to think twice before spending their money here. Stale food and poor customer treatment should never be part of the experience especially at a place charging premium prices.

1pc chicken and slice of cheese on a panini and the vegetarian eggplant wrap with 1 slice of mushy eggplant, a few spinach leaves and 4pc diced peppers absolutely zero flavor and the macaroni salad was spoiled all for $26 is the biggest rip-off in Branford.

I work for a local nonprofit and we’ve used Shoreline on multiple occasions to cater for our large group trainings. On each occasion they’ve been easy to work with, responsive and so generous. The food is delicious and they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Our organization plans to continue to use them for catering!

My wife has been going here for years but food quality went downhill in the last couple of years, Every now and again we say to ourselves let's give them an another try but nope still disappointing. My wife used to love their chicken cutlet sandwiches meal with fries. The oil used to fry the cutlet and the fries seems to be old and has a weird taste and smell to it also doesn't seem to be fresh like it used to be ...very disappointing and not sure how they're still in business honestly.

Used to be a frequent favorite spot for me, but sadly times have changed. Poor quality food (premade grilled chicken that comes out cold) and incompetent customer service.
The sandwiches are huge and delicious. The service is always great. And they have the best fries. Highly recommend

0 starI have been coming to Shoreline for years and have never experienced such rude customer service. One of the women (shown in picture) has been nothing but rude to my sister and i multiple times now. Gives dirty looks since she recognizes us because we used to be loyal customers. NOW never again. I’m not sure if she owns the place or a minimum wage worker who takes the job way too seriously. She is rude about NOTHING, and i can’t keep quiet about it. I’ll be waiting in line ready to pay and instead of helping me and the line behind she answers the phone and takes an order instead of placing them on hold. I refuse to take the disrespect for some mediocre food.
