The food speaks here - especially the Ramens. This is the one Ramen spot I actually travel to eat at. Then the sushi and hand rolls back it up. The cold soba noodles, scallop carpaccio, sake selection. Great place to come solo and get some work done too. The Karrage could have slightly smaller chunks :)

We've been at Takumi at least three times since ordering out and each time it is absolutely delicious! The Tomyum soup is PHENOMENAL! Definitely a now favorite of ours!

One of the best sushi restaurants around. Food is always very good and quality. Service is not always the best, this place is much better for takeout than dine in.

This ramen is so sad to eat. The noodles taste like the ones you get out of a cup of noodles, the pork is thinly sliced (thinner than deli meat), the corn is not buttery, and worst of all the broth has barely any flavor. The only good thing about the ramen and the reason the review will get 2 stars is that the marinated egg was delicious. Not worth the price! You will have better ramen in NY for a cheaper price.

Great Ramon, fast service and family friendly. My teenage soon especially enjoys the noodle options here and the restaurant is large enough that a table is usually avaible. Not particularly fancy but a solid choice for sushi and ramen.

So this spot opened in a non-descript plaza on Branford Hill a few years ago and tonight we tried it......FABULOSO!!!!!! We started w/rock shrimp and BAM, we were hooked. Succulent, crunchy but fresh and juicy shrimp with spicy aioli/remoulade style sauce indicating our meal would be amazing. Servers were attentive but not annoying and eager to please. My ramen was a spicy bowl of deliciousness that made me sweat with hugs of heat along with a lobster tempura roll and tuna roll and sashimi were delicious. Will be back before you can blink.

This place was recommended by someone and I came with high expectations. But the food and ambiance are rather mediocre, not terrible but just not very good. Service was only so, so and that with an almost empty restaurant at lunchtime midweek.

Quite possibly the worst ramen I've ever had in my life. First, the noodles were more akin to Sōmen than ramen. Secondly, the soup didn't taste like a miso broth. It was rather flavorless and not very salted. I took 4-5 bites and couldn't eat it. Lastly, menu stated it came with Japanese Sausage, and what I got tasted like a sliced up Brat. Now on the flip side, the BBQ Squid was cooked to perfection and the sauce was slightly sweet and tangy, great match.Service was below mid as I watched my server busy chatting in the corner with some other staff.
