Went there this year for St. Patrick's Day 2024. I have been there before for other St. Patrick's Day Celebrations. But this time I was very disappointed in the cornbeef sandwich. The bread fell apart and was very dry.
I lived in Guilford all my life and passed by this restaurant many, many times. I never went in. Until, one of my out-of-town colleagues suggested it. So I had to go. I had one of the best Corned Beef Rubens around. The bartender was super nice. I went for lunch. I can't comment about other food items, but I'm definitely going back.
Lunch special was sesame-seared ahi tuna, with wasabi, in a wrap. Delightful, with just enough wasabi to surprise me! I can recommend the potato salad too, as it was fresh and unique (Irish?). The place has real character and the staff was efficient and friendly. Will definitely return! Sort of wished that the music was more “tuned” to the Irish pub, but there played a few Bill Withers songs were tasty!
