While visiting Bridgeport, Connecticut, I stumbled upon a small but impressive spot—Banderas Latin Fusion. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the owner, who also happens to be the chef.
The menu was full of tempting options, making it hard to choose just one. What stood out immediately was the care and precision the chef put into every dish. He prepared and plated each entrée meticulously, holding all three plates behind the counter until they were perfectly finished. Only then did he bring them to the table, showing clear pride in his craft.
The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful without being overwhelmed by too much sazón or adobo, which can sometimes be the case at other Puerto Rican spots. The balance of flavors was just right.
Overall, it was a memorable visit. The food, service, and dedication made it worth the stop, and I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in the area.
