Now New Haven claims to have best pizza. Do not sleep in Bridgeport! Raised on this food too, along with Famous Pizza that was on Park Avenue, Vinny's on East Main Street (the only one I know that makes Sicilian style pizza. For all who don't know what that is, it is square pizza), and the original Captain's pizza on Main Street. Mario the Baker is pretty good too on Main Street in Bridgeport. Stop by Beverly's you won't regret it!
This is as good as it gets. I ordered 20 mins before they closed, and they treated me like family when I walked in to pick up. This pizza was phenomenal. The sauce was bursting with flavor, perfect crispy crust, and cooked to perfection. I've had a lot of pizza in my life , and this is easily in the top 3. Thank you.

Such a unique sauce that it makes it memorable. For a Greek pizza it’s suprisinglg very thin…which only adds an extra crisp to it. As I was sitting waiting for my order…he opened up the oven and you can hear the sizzle when he lifted the pie to check the under carriage…phenomenal!
