Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I loved to visit.
I love this place. Menu is similar to a restaurant in El Paso I liked.
Birdman food is fresh and tasty, the drinks are crafty. Decor is chill with a southern juke joint feel. This winter the music choice was not a good fit for the atmosphere and general average customer age. If you want the dinner customer to hang out, I recommend a hip americana, alt-country/rock - less club music.
So many good things here - short rib grill cheese, chicken dishes, cornbread!!, potato cones, korean chicken sandwich. Good cocktails too. Kids love the homemade nuggets.
This place is awesome, food is great, drinks are fantastic and the people are great. What more do you want.
The cornbread was the show stopper of the night, light, crispy and the taste had some depth to it aided by the honey-maple syrup and butter.
Wonderfully decadent food, if you are on Weight Watchers this is not the place for you!! Fantastic ribs perfectly cooked large portions and extra sauce is on the tables, no need to ask for more. The wait staff was lagging and seemed distracted. My beer was warm, and a little flat. The desert menu desperately needs a reworking e could only find one thing worth ordering! But still this place is all about the food and if you are not in a rush and can deal with the slow wait staff you will be rewarded with great comfort food and a decent family atmosphere. Ohh almost forgot the corn bread was other wordly!! I would go back just for that.
We have been looking forward to trying Birdman since before it opened, but didn't happen to make it out this way from Ohio until now. I understand that the Chef Chris is no longer affiliated with the restaurant, although the menu doesn't appear to have changed much, if any.
Great staff & comfortable environment. The food is decent but definitely not as good as when it first opened. I’ve been three times now & while the first experience was excellent during its first week in operation my two subsequent visits have seen the quality & standard of food go down a couple of notches most notably on my lunchtime visit on November 10th 2019. It’s definitely ok but it is not as good as when it opened at the beginning of the summer. Please find your mojo again & put the love back into the food which was sorely missing on my visit today.
This is a fun southern flare restaurant. Very spacious environment. The menu was southern comfort soul food. Fried everything. Drink selection was also good. Waitstaff we’re knowledgeable and lively. I would recommend to any meat eater. I had the cat fish, chicken wings, bacon cracklings and Brussels sprouts.

The Food Was Horrible Not My Idea Of Soul Food The Food Was Expense And Service Was No Good. I feel like I wasted $40. Mcdonalds would have been a better option. Too much salt.
First of all I rarely write reviews, word of mouth seems to work best for me. I tried the Birdman and absolutely loved the food, the fried chicken was some of the best I have had. I told my 94 year mom about it and she immediately wanted to try it out. She does not drive so, she has to rely on delivery. She was persistent in calling the restaurant to find out if and when they would offer delivery. She was eventually informed that she could go through GrubHub, which she did. She ordered up some fried chicken and pork bellies. She has so been looking forward to her first experience with the restaurant, and I couldn't wait to hear about how she enjoyed the food. Well, she couldn't have been more disappointed. The chicken was overdone and inedible, as were the pork bellies. Being quite sharp and feisty, she called the Birdman and explained her dilemma. She was greeted with someone totally unprofessional, offering neither an explanation or more importantly an apology.
This place is easy to miss from the outside, but the food is fantastic. Wait staff was friendly and food was out quick. No complaints at all and I'll definitely be back.
The food is good and the staff was great, however it took almost an hour to get our food and at the end of the night some of the food we ordered never came. The staff compensated us and we have nothing to complain about on that front, just hoping they get the kinks worked out because the food is good and the staff was helpful, but we were disappointed to not get some of our food and surprised this place is still having issues like this
I've never been a fried chicken fanatic. This place has me wondering if I've been wrong about that my whole life. Really delicious. Plus, their spicy bbq sauce is killer. They should sell it.
