My daughter & I were walking down Main Street and saw the ice cream sign. This ice cream shop is at the back of a jewelry store. We both had a double scoop of ice cream (mango, papaya), it was very good and refreshing. There is some seating inside.

The Calypso Cafe is a shared location with US VI Ice Cream in the shopping district. Follow the sign all the way to the back. This couple serves up awesome food (Derrick) and ice cream/sweet treats (Cameron). We have been there twice and hope to go once more before we leave the island. The food is fresh- we chose the polish kielbasa with Derrick’s homemade sauerkraut. Super delicious served on a crunchy baguette. The local workers come here to pick up their freshly made sandwiches for lunch. A regular parade of people. The ice cream is delicious and lots of favorite flavors. I had the guava and mango in Cameron’s homemade fresh off the grill waffle cone. They also have a very enticing cold brew coffee but too late in the day for me to try it. You must go whether coming in off a cruise ship or parked at a resort.

What a quaint little cafe with delicious treats. I was craving a Nutella crepe from the moment I saw a roadside stand that was advertising them. Calypso cafe made mine to order with a beautiful presentation. I had a cup of Bush Tea with no sweetener that offset the sweetness of the crepe. It was perfect. So delicious that I returned 2 days later for one more before heading back home. The cafe is hidden a bit but worth seeking it out. Next time I’ll try some ice cream and a waffle cone!

Wondering jewelry district St Thomas. Enter into a jewelry store and go to the back to find a real hidden jewel…Calypso Cafe. Hand made ice cream cones and some of the best fresh made ice cream on St Thomas! Darius, the proprietor, was friendly and shared his hospitality!! Telling stories from Poland. A warm hearted soul. The private garden is restful and peaceful….a wonderful place to spend a lunch in calm and quiet with someone special. True to heart the wonderful Polish hospitality.

The smell of the fresh waffle cones brought us in. Ice cream out of this world as were the waffle cones. Had a great visit with the owners as well and learned a bit about the ingredients they use and why. Turkish lamps were a fun addition in a beautiful space. Definitely worth a stop as very yummy. At the back of the international Diamond store. The yummy smell will direct you.

We stopped by Calypso Cafe for lunch on our weekend getaway. It was our first time there, and we totally enjoyed large delicious sandwiches (BLT & Ruben) at reasonable prices ($12.00 each). The bottled root beers were yummy too. The harbor views from the outside patio were beautiful. We definitely recommend this cafe for a casual meal out!
