Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The food did not meet expectations—bland flavors, careless presentation, and dishes that arrived cold to the table. To make matters worse, the service was unfriendly and very slow, making the visit uncomfortable from start to finish.
I understand every place can have a bad day, but in this case, everything fell short—food, service, and atmosphere. I cannot recommend it, and I believe there is a lot of work to be done to improve in all areas.
Besides the food not meeting expectations, the service left a lot to be desired. In particular, the lady with glasses who attended our table was unfriendly and inattentive, which made the visit even more uncomfortable.
Love visiting this place in the summer. Live music, positive vibes all-around. Cute shops along the water.
Nice staff, good view and food
This was my first time here and it was great. The food was delicious.
An iconic Bridgeport waterfront.
Great visiting after 15 years, always beautiful
Was a fun day! Got to shop in the little adorable shops along the water and watch the swimmers come in from swimming across the sound. And the scallops were delicious!
Good place for relaxing with music and seafood.
Great spot views service etc

Beautiful marina, nive ambience, great food and love middlebank boat
The food was awesome and all the bartenders made good drinks
I visited Captain’s Cove Seaport recently and honestly, I didn’t expect it to be this beautiful and relaxing. It’s not just a marina—it’s a full experience. The place has a warm, small-town coastal vibe with an amazing view of the boats docked along the harbor, people enjoying fresh seafood, and live music playing softly in the background.
Walking along the wooden boardwalk feels like stepping into a postcard. The area is clean, well-maintained, and has that calming scent of the sea. It’s family-friendly, yet also perfect for a chill solo trip or even a romantic evening stroll. There are little souvenir shops, casual restaurants, and spots where you can just sit, breathe, and watch the boats.
I went around sunset and the lighting over the water was just magical. I highly recommend timing your visit during the golden hour—it completely transforms the place. If you’re into photography, you’ll love it here.
The only thing I found slightly disappointing was the price—some of the food and drinks felt a bit overpriced for what you get. But overall, the atmosphere and experience made up for it.
What stood out most to me was how peaceful and safe the place felt, even with other visitors around. It’s the kind of hidden gem that makes you want to come back again. Don’t skip it if you’re anywhere near Fairfield
Great atmosphere, the food is a little pricey for what it is. The bar service is terrible with 5 bartenders they make you line up like cattle to be served by one bartender. Ok place to visit maybe once a year.
Great !
