It's the service. My buddy went to get us lunch and had to walk out.

This just happened about five minutes ago. Normally, I wouldn’t post something like this, but I’ve never experienced anything like that to my face before.

I walked in and stood at the counter by the register—no greeting, which is unusual because they normally do. Only one guy walking out from the back acknowledged me in passing. No one took my order.

Two people came in after me, and the main lady immediately took their orders without once even looking at me—while I was standing just two feet away. The assistant glanced at me but said nothing, then went on to help another customer who came in after me.

For context, I speak Portuguese, so communication wouldn’t have been an issue.

Eventually, I moved directly in front of the register, thinking maybe they hadn’t seen me. At that point, there were three people behind the counter—still, no one acknowledged me, asked for my order, or even made eye contact.

I really don’t like being publicly critical of local businesses, but this isn’t the first time I’ve had this kind of experience here. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable spending money—if I even got the chance to spend any at all.

The staff is horrible, especially the young fellow with a beard and glasses is totally useless and most of the time that he goes to work is all drugged up. It’s not a good image for the business!!

The place is good and clean but the tax for the chips and drinks if u gonna get a sandwich or something and u need a drink go across the street to the new gas station or even next to the gas station there’s a corner store u can buy the same chips bigger for the same price and the drinks to they selling little 50 cent bags for 1 dollar lol

I have had the opportunity to visit this place twice and I had a bad experience, I thought that after giving my arguments to the owners of the bad experience it would change, BUT NO! I really don't want this to keep happening, I had the opportunity to send a friend of mine to the place and they still continue to charge you over the standard price, They ask you to make a deposit, and you agree on a final price with the baker and the day you claim your cake they make extra charges and you have no choice but to pay them because if not, they won't give you the cake or the money back paid, IT CAN'T CONTINUE TO HAPPENING! WHEN YOU AGREE ON A PRICE THAT'S IT, THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE CUSTOMERS.

Very friendly and explained all the different types of bakery items!

This is the worst bakery in all of Bridgeport area.
They charge me $18 + taxes for chicken cutlet sandwich on a Portuguese roll.
Just go to Chaves Bakery they charge $9 for the same sandwich and it's much better quality.
