A very unique restaurant, made with the Latin community in mind.

El Coquito – Delicious, authentic Puerto Rican food! The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and the portions are generous for the price. A true staple in the Puerto Rican community. Whenever friends or family visit from out of town, this is always the first stop. So good that heads of state, senators, congressmen, and celebrities make it a point to stop here when visiting Bridgeport. Highly recommended!

We traveled all the way from New Hampshire to try El Coquito in Bridgeport, CT, and it was absolutely worth the trip. The food was incredible — full of authentic flavor, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and expertly prepared.

Food was okay, the sorbet they make in house is the true standout here, amazing flavor and perfect texture, its worth going here just to order the sorbet to try all the flavors

Worst customer service ever I was standing for 15 minutes waiting for help and after one of the employees told me how can I help you and I told them what do I need and they were like 20 more minutes that is so bad
