Very sad and disappointed about the experience I had today, I have been eating here for 5 years because of the delicious flavor that the grilled chicken has since I considered the flavor to be the closest to Peru but just today I ordered a grilled chicken and I The surprise when I got home that the chicken was neither grilled nor roasted, it was burnt, I tried to consume it but the chicken inside had already acquired the burnt flavor the green sauce had a very strange flavor, I could say that it was spoiled since it was I could taste and smell it.I am truly very disappointed as I will never order here again because of this terrible experience and I always recommend this restaurant to people I know which I will no longer do.To add, the customer service was really low since the person who helped me was fighting with someone on the phone and it was obvious that it was a personal fight while he was helping me and I consider that a lack of respect for the customer.

Came to this local Peruvian Restaurant in search of some Peruvian rotisserie chicken. I usually go to another Peruvian restaurant but they unfortunately were sold out. Luckily I found Sabor Peruano who were also in the area and they didn't disappoint. The food was very good. The staff were helpful but it seems the restaurant does more delivery and take out than dining in. I say this because the restaurant is rather small and has a small town feel to it. However, the waitresses were always on the phone writing down orders, prepping them ready to go.
I must say if you are looking for authentic Peruvian food!!! Sabor Peruano is a Gem truly the food is worth the wait prices are affordable and the service is great very friendly if your in the Madison ave area stop by you will not regret it try the Lomo a lo pobre!!!!!
