Take it from a born Jamaican when I say this is the spot if you want good back home cooking. I have tried other surrounding Jamaican restaurants and non can compare to Flavaz only sad thing is it's a little distance from me. But yes real food here love it

Always friendly, food's always delicious. They take the time to smile. That's so welcoming from someone who is serving you. Thank you for that, it can make all the difference.

Disappointing experience at Flavas. I called at 2:58 PM to order the lunch special, but was told it was no longer available. The special didn't end until 3:00 PM, but the staff insisted it was 'currently over.' Despite my clarification on the time, they refused to honor the menu. Poor customer service and inflexibility. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit. Not recommended.

Ordered from DoorDash. Food was hot but very dry and tasteless. I got the curry chicken, rice/peas and cabbage. I’ve been in CT for work and the food here is very bland. I’m so ready to leave here 😩
Food was great! I got liver and ackee & saltfish food was delicious down to the fried dumplings. Highly recommend. They open early which was very convenient and were friendly.

Curry goat is sooo GOOD! 10/10 for food please dont ever touch the recipe or spices 💯🔥
For my construction workers-
Chicken curry, rice and peas, fried fritter, and a patty at 9am.....all good! (and again ready at 9am- For my carribean lovers, you can understand the importance of this lol.
Will be back for more!
I would drive by this place constantly and never thought to try it until my brother put me on to the Brown Stew Chicken. OMG it is soooo good. I have been eating here multiple times a week now. Today the guy gave me the Macaroni Salad and it was FIREEEE. I love Flavas, I want to be FLAVAS lol.. NO but forreal the food is so good and they are very friendly. I don't eat any other Jamaican Restaurant now.

OMG, I’m from New York and I’ve been living out here for the past six years looking for a restaurant that can authentically authenticate the West Indian food like Brooklyn does and I found it here their food is perfectly cooked. Everything you won’t go wrong. It’s not a place to sit down and eat, but it has great takeout and their services are nice and clean 💯
