Good food, good service and enjoy the music, just turn it down a little bit ❤️

Incompetent Waitress. Ordered ONE Two Roads IPA Beer and received TWO. All orders came with greasy floppy skinny fries even though asked for different sides. Realized after I left that I never received one of my appetizer orders. Overpriced meals.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Came twice in the span of a month and the second experience was worse than the first time. They do not know how to handle parties of 10 or more. Some alcoholic beverages tasted like it had nothing compared to others. They don't allow you to exchange items even when they haven't come out or been made yet. Some of the food took forever to come. At one point, one of our friend's food never came the whole time, and when he asked if he could get it in a to-go since everyone was already done, they refused to take it off the tab since he still got his food at the end of the night. He ordered around 9pm and we left a little after 11pm. He was sitting there hungry for 2 HOURS, and the best they could do was offer a discount.
The bill also took forever to come and the waitress just dropped them on the table and walked away. I had to distribute each receipt myself, and the waitress never explained it all had to be on one card despite there being individual receipts. Having the individual receipt was great so people knew exactly how much to send, but how are you just gonna drop them on the table and then walk away ????
The rasta pasta is also inconsistent. The first time it was nice and spicy, and the second time it was bland. The waitress said they couldn't send it back or make it more spicy. The birthday girl wondered if she could just get more pasta sauce if they had any sauce that was spicier, and then the waitress took it back to make it spicier. It was such a simple solution and they just don't want to do anything that may be a slight inconvenience to them.

Anyways, the girls and I will not be going there again. I haven't been to Grill 2 in a few years, but I feel like management and the vibes were WAY better back then.

I stopped by Grill 2 tonight with my cousin, and what a vibrant experience it was!. The highlight of my visit was the DJ spinning an infectious mix of Caribbean rhythms and Afrobeats that had the whole place pulsing with energy.
The food was equally delightful, especially the rich, flavorful curry goat that hit all the right notes.

But beyond the music and the meals, it was the electric vibe and the lively crowd that truly made the night unforgettable. It’s definitely a return visit for me. This restaurant is pretty closed to road and be easily noticed from a vehicle in normal traffic. There’s also wheelchair ♿️ accessible entrance #OnGoogleMaps #Google #Food #Afrobeat #Caribbean #Bar #Travel #CT #Bridgeport #Tristate

Came here for drinks with a few friends on a Friday night. The drinks were strong and the service was solid. Can't complain. They even let me play DJ for a bit.

I went to Grill II for lunch there last year for my birthday with someone I know, but before that, I had ordered through Uber Eats—it takes 70 minutes, y’all to get to me but I was impressed enoughto want to endure. And even though I had complained before about how salty the food was, I kept supporting by trying different dishes and everytime it cost a bit because of the distance ... ect That is not a problem, I just wanted the reward to be edible and enjoyable, tasty food. But today was the biggest disappointment of them all.

I ordered close to $100 worth of food through Uber Eats, and the $35 oxtail with white rice came so salty I had to try to recook it. After two rounds, it was still too salty to eat. The rice wasn’t even cooked properly. I thought about fixing that too, but I didn’t—because I knew it would just turn to mush the second time around.

I honestly don’t understand the logic behind putting so much salt in food. It kills the flavor. Especially for us from the Caribbean, where we use so many natural seasonings—salt is meant to enhance flavor, not be the flavor. And let’s not forget how bad it is for our health.

The only thing that wasn’t a total loss—though salty too—was the oxtail empanadas and the drink. And I didn’t even get the dessert I ordered.

It just wasn’t my night and I hate that I didn't get tonjust enjoy diner . And I’ve decided I’m not going to keep doing this to myself. If people don’t love their business enough to cook good, tasty, and edible food for their customers, then why should I keep spending my money, supporting, and throwing food away because it’s literally not edible? It is sad but after today. It's a big No for me!

We went there after The Bridgeport Jazz Festival and it a beautiful night so they sat us outside. We had a group of 10. Being that it was our1st time and unfamiliar with the food, Paul came out with a few samples of food and everything was good which helped us make our decision. Everything from the food to the service was great. Just a bit slower possibly because of the group size.
