My husband and I recently gave a dinner reception to celebrate our elopement and at the recommendation of our venue (Open Farmhouse in Redding, CT) we used Herbaceous Catering. We had a phenomenal experience with Genee, Jesse and the rest of their team. Genee was super helpful and professional during the planning process and solved problems I hadn't even considered, like bringing buttered pasta for our toddler guest. The food at the actual event was delicious and beautiful....
Genee is so gifted. She prepares the most creative, interesting, and gorgeous dishes possible. She is committed to sourcing her ingredients from local producers, all based around what's in season. There is absolutely nothing run-of-the-mill about what she does - it's all high quality and special.
We completely customized the menu together, and our tasting was an absolute blast. It felt more like a fun, creative collaboration than a typical vendor appointment....
