Horrible service, never order from here! They got a 1 start because I had no choice! After she took my order when I get there she said she has no more rice. I asked can I get a free egg roll to replace the rice since I’m already paying for it she said no.

I love going there first of all, it’s a family environment. The food is THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE NEXT 300 miles because I travel a lot. I love the orange chicken but I always try something different… The fact that it’s a family business makes me so comfortable eating there (I have been placing take out orders for about 5 years), and just so you know: they don’t deliver. That way their food is delivered to you is fresh directly, not compromising quality, also they’re VERY BUSY. Order NOW (this is not a paid promotion I’m literally a fan of their food ❤️)
Hong Kong Express is probably my favorite place to go to for Chinese food. LOVE THE EGGROLLS! I’ve tried other places in Bridgeport but unfortunately none have had the same good taste as this place here. They are very quick with their orders and they are very nice! Though I do wish they had a delivery option like they used to. That’s the only downside of the place, but other than that, no complaints at all.
Giving this spot a 5 star based off the other handful of Chinese spots in the area being not good, not having a lunch menu or being too expensive.
This place is a great mix of good solid Chinese food at an affordable price. I’ve had their Szechuan chicken and shrimp, boneless spare ribs, sliced pork, fried wontons, chicken sticks and idk what else over the course of a couple months for lunch.
Everything hit and the customer service is great too.

Restaurant did appear old and unkept so I was skeptical about ordering. However, I was greeted with a friendly face therefore I ordered a wonton soup and egg roll. Both were really good. I will return to try something else.
