Joseph's Steakhouse

$77 ribeye was DEEELICIOUS. However, the sides fall flat & are very disappointing. Mushrooms, blah & for the $13 price tag, should be more of a gourmet variety, not your everyday mushroom. No ground pepper or salt?!?! Bourbon & other drinks use cubed ice, not the "steakhouse cube" or ball. Not upscale, yet prices are. Cast iron chop house in New Haven charges $78 for Riley which INCLUDES the broccoli($12 or $13 for veggie @Josephs) AND potato ($8 @ Joseph's). I'll make the trip.

Had an amazing porterhouse the lobster bisque was amazing and so is the salad with bacon . I highly recommend this restaurant.

This CT institution has seen better days and its unfortunate. Some folks who work there were wonderful (Frank to name one) and others felt like we were a bother. The quality has gone down while the prices have gone up. $150+/person should mean better quality food that is perfectly seasoned and great service.

Fabulous martini. Great wine. Shrimp cocktail, steak, mashed potatoes and mushrooms were beyond excellent!

Joseph's never disappoints. Steak is the best around and the Joseph's salad and mashed potatoes are fabulous! It's a little noisy as there are often lathe parties, bit feel that's expected at an old s hook steak house.

I've always enjoyed my experiences at Joseph's. Food and service is always impeccable. This particular night there was a party of 8 that was pretty obnoxious. My only suggestion to them would be to separate those larger parties from the couples and smaller groups

The signature salad for two is a must order! Porterhouse for two was perfectly cooked Drinks were well made A great date night for sure

The Joseph Special salad was, as usual, excellent. As was the Porterhouse. My problem is there has been a definite shrinkflation. Portions much smaller. Prices higher.

A little slice of heaven. Best food ever! Accompanied by the best service ever! The staff makes every customer feel VIP.

Everything was great . Our waiter was great . I do believe I covered mashed potatoes but didn't receive them (wasn't on bill either) but I'm not 100% I did ask for them and by the time I could I was almost done with my meal . Really the only issue was the $$ . I paid $80 for a one person porter house that I could have gotten at Outback or Texas Roadhouse for 1/2 the price . But as a date nite the overall experience was wonderful

Frankie, our server was very attentive and on point as always!! The food was excellent! There definitely was a feeling of teamwork! Great dining experience!

We go to Joseph's every year to celebrate milestones - during our wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday. Joseph's never disappoint, so thanks to all the staff.

Almost perfect. My only complaint was the steak was a bit under-seasoned. I hate having to reach for the salt shaker in a restaurant.

Our waiter, Bobby, was the quintessential steak house waiter-just what an Anniversary celebration needed. He helped us decide our orders as we asked and was accomodating to our rushed dinner timing---show to attend.

Was told to check this place out when I’m down here covering AHL Providence Bruins road games and definitely glad I made it over for the total steal experience.
Shoutout to my new friend and bartender Frank as he was amazing and entertaining.
