The pizza is absolutely amazing I always get it when I visit but the prices are outrageous. I'd expect this in New York but not Bridgeport. 34 dollars for two slices and a pasta with shrimp for pick up now if it was delivery Id understand.

I been coming here since I was a kid! First time I ate here was in 1994 and when I went inside, it was like a traditional NY pizzeria just one long counter and window to place an order. Since then this place has grown into a beautiful restaurant and the food quality is just as good as the 90’s maybe a little better now. The chicken wings are amazing. I live in FL now but every time I go back to my hometown I take the wife here!!!

If I could give ZERO stars I would! Unbelievable! I ordered a pizza through DoorDash and my driver was waiting outside patiently for my order to be fulfilled. Apparently one of the associates who made my order decided they were going to give it to somebody else and will not rectify it I am now out $40 no food and got yelled at over the phone by the man at the counter saying it's not his fault that he gave someone else my order. I will never be going here again Do not trust them they will give your order to somebody else My poor DoorDasher is trying to figure out what to do now because they're out food out money and it's all Massimo pizzerias fault You should be ashamed of yourself.

HIGHLY ANNOYED WITH MASSIMO! I ordered a pizza and you told me 45 minutes to an hour. I get there and wait even longer in line and then to be told you don't have my pizza and to wait an additional 20 minutes! For that 20 minutes why did I have to wait an hour in the first place....oh because yall messed up! I know it's Super Bowl Sunday but all those people waiting for pizzas and if cheese pizzas were be given out why wouldn't someone after me have to wait a little longer since yall messed up my order! I frequented your restaurant for years and in there very often! IM GOOD!

Without a shadow of a doubt this is one of Bridgeport’s best pizzeria. The takeout business is tremendous but they also offer in restaurant table dining as well. The Italian dishes are excellent, you cannot get a bad meal. The pizza is the star of the show, thin crust with excellent toppings, definitely one of the best pizza you can get around. They also sell pizza slices, so when you don’t want a whole pizza you can just get a slice.
I hadn't been here in over 20 years, it was good to see the food was as tasty as I remembered.

I'm from the Bronx,nyc so I'm a hard critic on pizza. When I 1st moved to ct. in 2007 I was in search for good pizza. I happened to be in the little shopping area near my house when I saw Massimo's. Walked in had a slice & it was over. My fave are the pasta combo (consists of 2 manicottis,2 stuffed shells,& a nice portion of meat lasagna w/ mozzarella & sauce on top ), regular cheese pizza, & they meatball/chicken parm heroes( grinders in CT. Talk). The staff is so friendly & if you're a regular they call you by your name. It's a quick pick up & go which I usually do. It is always super busy so I call ahead to order my to go. I have dined in numerous times & waiter/waitress was always so nice. I never had a bad experience. It was a nice environment but always super packed. Whenever you're in BRidgeport,ct. & want an nyc style pizza ( not flat crust like most ct. pizza) come grab a slice from Massimo's. The friendly neighborhood pizzeria!
The only place in Fairfield county I will order from! My grand kids love the place as well! That make me happy ?.Kid-friendliness: My grand kids love the place! Once my five year old heard me placing the order via Bluetooth. He told me to tell the guy make Shure he puts cheese on the pizza. The gentleman heard him and said I'm going to put a lot of cheese on it for him!
