I love the Italian ice here when I visit but the place is not open even though it says it on Google and Facebook . I've called twice different days and visited on the hours it says it's open and it's closed. No answer either :/

In Bridgeport near BCC, the workers were very sweet and patient, the Italian ice was excellent. Good parking in the lot next to the building as well.

Great homemade Italian ices. Flavors taste slightly different than what I’m used to but I had the coconut and the flavor was delicious and the texture was smooth. Will definitely be back. FYI they’re also Cash ONLY

3 phone calls from 3 different woman and 1 week advance notice wasn't enough to get my party order right. I'm a business owner also I know what it's like to go through mistakes and I was kind enough to still pick them up and pay for them but they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to make things right. 3 one gallon tubs of italian ice couldnt even do me the courtesy of giving me cups. Horrible place horrible people terribly unprofessional. Called the night before to see if it was done couldn't even get a call back and if I did we could have fixed the mistake. NOPE day of pick up "we made up some random flavors for your order."

I live in Southern California and was born in Bridgeport. Whenever I'm back in CT. I always make multiple trips to Micalizzi's. It's hard to describe the INTENSE flavor of all their ices. A bit pricey but still worth it. You won't be disappointed.
