Stopped at Nick's Diner. Very pleased. Friendly staff, clean and excellent service and food. Nice size portions. Filling. Coffee was good and hot. Had the shrimp and grits. Would get again. Husband had the hungry man breakfast. Plenty of food on his plate. Will give Nick's Diner 10 stars. Thank you for a great breakfast.

I was welcomed by Francisco, when I walked in. ☺️ I arrived around 3:30 pm on a Wednesday, not busy at all. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Very, very clean! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 I enjoyed my meal, thank you. 😊 They also have highchairs for those with small children. 👍🏼 The iced caramel latte was also delicious.😋 Restroom 🚻 very clean! I highly recommend Nick's Diner here on Madison Ave in Bridgeport, CT.

Tried this place on a whim while in the area. Definitely get the Fish (Fried Whiting) and Grits platter w 2 eggs over easy - it's GREAT and very fairly priced. The server made a few mistakes, but they were easily fixed and she was very pleasant and nice overall. Give this place a try, it's definitely good. Oh, their coffee is A+ too - a very nice cup o Joe, not MUDD!

The new restaurant is very clean and not cluttered. The service is excellent and the quality of the homemade food is delicious. I will definitely recommend Nick's and i will be back. Staff is extremely friendly.
