Very unprofessional. Food is mediocre. There was not one clean table in sight when my daughter and I tried to grab a seat. And then, when I asked one of the many young workers there to clean the table, they had an attitude and dragged their feet. I remember as soon as I went to the counter to order my food no one greeted me. I didn’t even know who to talk to, and it looked as if everyone had a disgusting attitude and not care to attend to my daughter, and I to place our order.

Waited over an hour for food that in the end had to take to go. Terrible service. The place was not busy at all

I love a great brunch spot. I came into Bridgeport for a concert. I stayed overnight and found this spot a few blocks away from my Airbnb. The food was delicious. The service, minus a little bit of a wait due to how busy there are, was decent. I’ve already mentioned it to a few people back home in NY. I would definitely go back because I am someone who doesn’t like grits, and theirs were so good!!!

I live in Bridgeport and I have been wanting to try Queen's Delight for a few years. However, each time I tried the wait time for food to be ready is extremely excessive. 45 mins plus. So the 3 previous times I've tried, I was never able to experience the food I said never mind because of the wait.
Today 9/27/25 my friend and I ordered to go and got chicken and waffles. Told is 30 mins and will call when food was ready.
Waited 40 mins never got the call. It took another 20 minutes before we got the food. The red velvet waffle was subpar... tasted like Duncan Hines cake mix with waffle batter. The chicken wings had no seasoning whatsoever, and the chicken tenders were just mediocre at best. Even the hotsauce didn't help the taste.
I also got the strawberry lemonade for $6 and it didnt taste like strawberry or lemonade... it was sugar water.
I won't be coming back unfortunately. I had high hopes.

service was so bad, the staff said wait about 30 minutes, and we waited over 1 hour, they laughed when I asked why it took so long

A soulful experience from start to finish! This small Black-owned gem serves up some of the most flavorful, creative soul food I’ve ever had. Today I tried the Fruity Pebble French Toast with a side of fried chicken wings, and both the taste and presentation were spectacular. Every bite felt like it was made with genuine love and care, and the menu is full of unique dishes that really set this place apart.

If I had any suggestions, it would only be to see them in a larger space someday—with more seating for bigger groups and maybe even a cozy stage in the corner for karaoke or local performances. They deserve all the room to shine because they’re truly doing something special here.

I visited Queen's Delight just yesterday. We stopped after looking for good breakfast spots. I was very impressed. It's small in there. There are 3 tables that seat 4 people and 4 tables for 2. The food was delish. I had the shrimp po boy with fries and my husband had brunch. A red velvet waffle with cream cheese frosting drizzled on top with some fresh berries to top it off. There were so many great options to choose from. Please give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
