service was so bad, the staff said wait about 30 minutes, and we waited over 1 hour, they laughed when I asked why it took so long

A soulful experience from start to finish! This small Black-owned gem serves up some of the most flavorful, creative soul food I’ve ever had. Today I tried the Fruity Pebble French Toast with a side of fried chicken wings, and both the taste and presentation were spectacular. Every bite felt like it was made with genuine love and care, and the menu is full of unique dishes that really set this place apart.
If I had any suggestions, it would only be to see them in a larger space someday—with more seating for bigger groups and maybe even a cozy stage in the corner for karaoke or local performances. They deserve all the room to shine because they’re truly doing something special here.

I visited Queen's Delight just yesterday. We stopped after looking for good breakfast spots. I was very impressed. It's small in there. There are 3 tables that seat 4 people and 4 tables for 2. The food was delish. I had the shrimp po boy with fries and my husband had brunch. A red velvet waffle with cream cheese frosting drizzled on top with some fresh berries to top it off. There were so many great options to choose from. Please give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

I have been to this spot three times already. First time for a business lunch meeting, it was good, just not enough time spent. The second time, I decided to do take-out, because of timing and that experience was better, but still not good enough for me. The food was good but just didn't hold up long enough for me to enjoy it.
Now as for this last visit, almost perfection 👌🏾I decided to make this trip a solo dolo, taking a self-care day , with first giving myself the best meal, at the top of my day. I walked in on a Sunday, hoping there wasn't a crowd, expecting it anyway, and there was one. I wasn't quite clear on the protocol after entering, so I stepped out of the entrance way and sat at the first table, to wait for the line to die down, and then because I was talking on my phone I somehow got skipped over. I had to wait another 20-30 minutes for a single table to be available 🤷🏾♀️ I continued my phone call and waited patiently for my turn. When that time came, I already knew what I wanted to eat and so that did not take long. My very first time having shrimp and grits, with that famous honey biscuit and some fried fish on the side. I took my time and severed every bit of my meal, was delicious 😋 🤤 😋 good to the last drop and worth the wait, of what felt like an hour. I'll definitely be back.

OMG, THE best grits outside of my mom's. Nice and creamy. Yes, I had the shrimp and grits and can't wait to go back for more. It was my granddaughter's bday and they surprised us by singing.!
The grits were amazing. Food overall was great along with the service.

My family and I visited your restaurant yesterday with an 11:00 a.m. reservation, looking forward to another enjoyable experience as we’ve had in the past. Unfortunately, this visit fell well below expectations. Despite having a reservation, we were not seated until 11:25 a.m., and once seated, no staff approached our table to take our order. We had to go up to the register to let the cashier know we were ready to order—over 30 minutes into our visit.
When we were finally able to place our order, it took an additional 40 minutes for the food to begin arriving, the and coffee was cold and two of the breakfast orders were incorrect, despite the waitress double-checking them at the table. Additionally, we were not offered water and had to ask for basic items like silverware.
To make matters worse, the restroom was not as clean as it should have been, which added to our overall dissatisfaction.
We've dined here before and had much better experiences, which makes this visit all the more disappointing. It’s unclear why reservations are accepted if they don’t help reduce waiting time or improve service. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the dining experience for future guests.
