This place truly stands out as one of Bridgeport’s top spots for Italian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and inviting, with a beautiful interior that sets the tone for a great meal. The menu offerings are excellent, especially the rotating specials, and the wine list is thoughtfully curated with plenty of great choices. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. The servers were attentive, personable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s the kind of restaurant that leaves a lasting impression and has you already planning your next visit.

I'm astounded at how average the food is in this place. It's so easy to get Italian right - or wrong for that matter. Restauranteurs are so funny, they only bring the quality up to meet the palate of their clientele - nothing more. Their clientele, in this case is Bridgeport - hardly discerners of fine cuisine. The food at Ralph and Riches stops short of superb because they know they don't have to take the extra step - nobody knows the difference. Until somebody does.

Great spot in Bridgeport.
We wanted to eat dinner before a concert at the amphitheater and we walked and found Ralph and Rich's.
The hostess was able to seat us even though the restaurant was busy.
The menu is very nice and the staff is great.
The bar area is lively and the dining room in the back is quieter.
The apps, the entrees and the desserts are great.
This place is a must try !

My wife and I decided to try somewhere new and chose Ralph 'n' Rich's. We ended up having a great time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. One of my favorite dishes is coconut shrimp so I had to order theirs and it did not disappoint. I was very impressed. By the time the bill came we were both surprised at how reasonable the bill was given the amount of food we got. I would highly recommend this place

Lemme tell you something. This was truly A DAY TO REMEMBER!!!!!

But not so much because of this place. Because of the punk rock band concert we went to after, aptly named A DAY TO REMEMBER.

I ordered the Chicken Marsala. It was okay. Little mushy and wet, but tasted okay. My friend's enjoyed their dish. Our waitress didn't seem to like us or something tho. Possibly because she wasn't going to see A DAY TO REMEMBER.

Anyways the place was pretty. Would utilize the parking lot again fo sho.

I was dining at the restaurant that evening and feel compelled to share a different perspective. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff was attentive and professional, and service was handled smoothly throughout the night.

Anyone familiar with Ralph and Richies knows it is a superior establishment, and that standard extends to its staff. It’s the kind of place where first-time guests often become long-term customers because of how genuinely welcoming and inclusive the environment is. Guests are treated with respect regardless of social status, race, political views, or appearance.

I will add that I have never personally felt any sense of discomfort or exclusion in this establishment. However, while seated near the couple referenced in this review, their behavior felt noticeably tense and out of place compared to the otherwise inclusive and relaxed atmosphere that evening.

The bar area functioned exactly as expected for a restaurant with a bar, and the environment remained enjoyable for those dining nearby. I did not witness any unprofessional behavior from the bartender or staff, nor did the space feel disruptive or chaotic.

Everyone’s experience is personal, but based on what I observed, this review does not reflect the evening as it actually unfolded. I would absolutely return and confidently recommend this restaurant to others.

It started as a beautiful, cold evening that ended with a snowstorm, flakes scattered across the streets. We were seated at a table by the bar, expecting a calm and romantic dinner, especially given the prices—$45–$60 for steaks.

The experience quickly went downhill. The bartender didn’t give us a drink menu and seemed confused about the menus in general. Soon after, her friends came in and sat at the bar, along with another man who wasn’t even there to dine.

What had been a peaceful atmosphere was suddenly disrupted when one of her friends turned on the TV and played sports loudly. When we complained, the bartender simply said, “It’s a bar.”

For a place at this price point, the lack of professionalism and consideration for the dining experience was disappointing.

We ordered take to have dinner with my mom at her senior home. Ralph was very helpful on deciding the menu and the amount of food needed. Everything was excellent. Thank you. We all loved the food and it made it a special day for my 96 year old mom

Went here before a concert. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Had the chicken marsala and a lemon drop martini. Try the skyscraper mouse cake

We were looking forward to trying this establishment for dinner, but unfortunately our lunch experience has left us hesitant to return. After finishing our meal, we paid in cash including tip at the table. As we were leaving, we overheard staff saying out loud several times, “no tip, no tip,” but we ignored it since we were heading out.

Moments later, a staff member rushed outside and accused us in front of others of not tipping. When we recounted together, it turns out the bills had been stuck together and the tip was there all along. I even called afterward to confirm if there was a minimum gratuity policy for a party of two, but there wasn’t.

Mistakes happen, but publicly accusing guests and repeating comments like that instead of simply double-checking felt unprofessional and embarrassing.
