We ordered take to have dinner with my mom at her senior home. Ralph was very helpful on deciding the menu and the amount of food needed. Everything was excellent. Thank you. We all loved the food and it made it a special day for my 96 year old mom

We were looking forward to trying this establishment for dinner, but unfortunately our lunch experience has left us hesitant to return. After finishing our meal, we paid in cash including tip at the table. As we were leaving, we overheard staff saying out loud several times, “no tip, no tip,” but we ignored it since we were heading out.
Moments later, a staff member rushed outside and accused us in front of others of not tipping. When we recounted together, it turns out the bills had been stuck together and the tip was there all along. I even called afterward to confirm if there was a minimum gratuity policy for a party of two, but there wasn’t.
Mistakes happen, but publicly accusing guests and repeating comments like that instead of simply double-checking felt unprofessional and embarrassing.

We have been to Ralph N' Rich's several times before. We went for dinner at 5:00 on a Saturday and were SO disappointed. We made reservations in advance, but they did not tell us on the phone there was a LIMITED MENU because of a show at the Amphistheatre. BEWARE: Apparently, when ever there is a show, they cut their menu drastically. We did not know that until we sat down in the hot (I mean hot) restaurant. No scallops, no chicken piccata- the menu was basically halved-they handed you a small rectangle for the menu, but the prices were INCREASED! . They were also having issues with the AC and had a small residential portable unit set up. Really? The restaurant is very large with high ceilings and you have an AC unit that cools 400 sf? We were perspiring and drank a ton of water. Service was slow, they did not ask how everything was. All the food we ordered was brought to us hot, well cooked and seasoned (calamari appetizer, chicken, cavatelli, broccoli, chicken marsala, rigatoni with Bolognese sauce, and salmon). Calamari was super tender, the chicken sausage was perfect. Presentation was subpar- the chicken, broccoli & cavatelli was beige, the chicken marsala looked like slop in a plate. The chicken parmesan looked like they put a slice of pre-packaged mozzarella on top and there was a sloppy pile of spaghetti on the same plate. The salmon was placed in the middle of the plate like a lonely boat in the ocean. What would it take to place sliced lemons and a sprinkle of something on the salmon, a sprinkle or sprig of parsley on the marsala and cavatelli, or a sprig of basil on the parmesan and Bolognese plate? We will not be going back.
