So this used to be Ramirez which was so yummy, so we went there thinking it was still there. Turned out it was this little gem. It's Venezuelan food. So so good. My husband has empanadas. The cheese was ok but the chicken was fabulous. I had the black beans, rice and beef stew!!! So phenomenal. Absolutely yummy!!! The flan and tres leches were bomb to. Reasonably priced. Only thing I will say their was the language barrier. It was hard for me to understand and hard for the server to understand. That makes it difficult when you have questions. But still, we got our food correctly. Place is fabulous. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Under these new owners, the Venezuelan food was excellent, with that Latin Creole flavor. Despite the fact that they're just starting out, they're doing WONDERFUL. The size and prices are very reasonable. 100% recommended.

The food is good. The staff are very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is not bad, but it's nothing to talk about. It's simply as small spot with a few tables where you can either stop in for a quick lunch or you can sit with a friend to have a meal while no one bothers you. It's never been busy when I've gone but don't let that fool you into thinking that it's not a good spot. The food is good. You can order from the ready made stuff on display or from the menu where all is cooked to order, which is what I usually do but not because the already made food isn't good, because I've had almost everything and have no complaints. I just usually want something like skirt steak which is so good. They're fast and good. I highly recommend if you haven't already realized that, lol. Btw, it's no longer called Ramirez. They go by a different name. It's now Esquina Latina which translates to Latin Corner.

Changed owners recently smaller portions larger bill. Things that used to be included in the meal are charged for. 15 for what they call a medium with rice 4 small pieces of beef in the beef stew 1 potatoe piece no carrots. Sign out front says 10 special with 1 meat. I quess they mean 1 piece of meat. Maybe the extra 4 pieces of beef got me the upcharge. Been coming here for years under previous owner. Always received a good value for the money. This I can't do will not be coming back here. Why did you have to mess up a great spot. Just to try a nickel and dime for an extra few bucks. You will lose more customers for nonsense like this. Makes no sense.

The truth is that the food was good, you should see what happens with your employees, that speaks badly of your business, sometimes employees bankrupt businesses, change those employees who want you to go bankrupt. That was the energy that I felt in that place, the actions of those people. Thank you .

I was a customer of Ramirez restaurant so today I went to purchase lunch, but I’m noticed they have a different owner now and it has a different name now it’s called esquina latina. I purchased rice with gondolas and pernil and also morsilla. The rice was not cooked properly. It did not have a good taste The pernil look like if it was soup and the Morsilla did not taste good. When someone decides to open a restaurant, they need to make sure that they know how to cook and other their food taste good. I do not recommend this place.
