Cons: the lack of being welcomed in the store. Upon arrival there was a male and female at the front. No customers inside. Lady was about to give me the wrong order. She was slicing up the steak, which is fine, but I also noticed she left a piece uncut on the board. I end up getting 7 small, thinly sliced steak ( see pic ). Which is unfortunate tbh. This was my go to spot when I lived in BPT and I was hoping to get the same service at the front desk and with the food. Would I come again? More than likely no.. not worth the drive or the money & time I spent to go there.

My wife and I walk to this place all of the time. I especially like the chicken soft shell tacos. Because the shells are good and sticky (not everyone's preference, I know), and the ingredients are of high enough quality, and so well-prepared, that they don't have to over-douse everything in salty sauces to mask the awfulness, the tacos stay together well. They are also reasonably hearty tacos--not thin, not overpacked. In short, this is one of those places that understands that well-wrought simplicity is the best approach for this kind of cuisine--great for a quick, satisfying meal. The service is efficient and kind, too!

I’ve been going to Taco King for years after a student brought one of their tostada salads to class one day. It looked good, so I picked one up for myself for dinner that night and the rest is history. I also highly recommend their soft tacos - it’s the only place I’ll order soft tacos, as a hard taco lover.
Quesadilla is top notch. Really crunchy shell and fresh ingredients. Tacos in soft shell were okay, chicken was better than beef for sure. Beef was kinda gummy and tasteless.
I honestly think the food was good. The Guacamole tasted a little off but overall I liked the experience. Pricing were very reasonable, which I am surprised to see these days.

The atmosphere and service were great, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I couldn’t eat the guacamole, had only a few shrimp, and the steak was just thinly shaved slices. I came here because of the glowing reviews, but this is far from authentic Mexican cuisine—it’s more like Chinese food with a twist. The ground beef was questionable, and the wrap wasn’t good either. I walked in hungry and left feeling the same. The presentation was nice, but sadly, the taste didn’t match. Wouldn’t recommend anything

First time here. Plenty of choices and good prices. We got the chicken and steak platters which came with rice & beans, chips, salsa, guacamole & soft tortillas. It also came with this super yummy picadillo. Chips were crispy & nicely slighty salty. Will definetly go back to try other things on the menu. Indoor seating or take out available.
