My wife and I walk to this place all of the time. I especially like the chicken soft shell tacos. Because the shells are good and sticky (not everyone's preference, I know), and the ingredients are of high enough quality, and so well-prepared, that they don't have to over-douse everything in salty sauces to mask the awfulness, the tacos stay together well. They are also reasonably hearty tacos--not thin, not overpacked. In short, this is one of those places that understands...

I’ve been going to Taco King for years after a student brought one of their tostada salads to class one day. It looked good, so I picked one up for myself for dinner that night and the rest is history. I also highly recommend their soft tacos - it’s the only place I’ll order soft tacos, as a hard taco lover.
