The food was delicious, the service was awesome, and the music was great. The bartender John made the best lemon drop. Next time in Bridgeport I will be back.

I’m extremely disappointed and upset by what happened when my cousin, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, visited your establishment. When he politely asked for someone to bring his food out to him, he was told, “I’ll do it this time, but don’t make it a habit.”
How dare you treat someone like that? That level of disrespect is unacceptable. Because of this experience, you’ve not only lost my business, but also the business of my entire family. Your attitude was appalling, and the customer service was absolutely disgraceful.
It’s even more disheartening when this kind of treatment comes from our own community. We should be supporting each other — not tearing each other down

My cousin called In an order and is in a wheelchair. Literally paralyzed from the waist down. When he pulled up and called to ask if the order could be brought outside to him because he was in a wheelchair, he was told by the young lady That she would do it this time, but not to make it a habit. When she walked the food outside to him, He was informed that they had no obligation to bring him his food to the car. This is not your common situation where you had a customer that just did not feel like walking in the door. You literally had a customer who has a disability asking for something so simple, and to be met with such distain and disrespect is beyond me. What happened to customer service? Shame on you.

Hi! So i stopped in for lunch today, and this place was bare and empty. One guy was at the host stand, and we had to scan a QR code to access the menu. We didn’t have internet of any kind, and the restaurant didn’t provide internet, so the menu was inaccessible. The server offered no solutions, no way to view the menu without using your own data to do so.

What kind of restaurant does this? This was beyond uninviting, and I will not be returning.

The food was great! Im not a loud music type of person anymore…and this place is more like a lounge so the music was, noticeable. But they were nice and the service was fast enough for me to get outta there lol

I was in the area on business. A friend of mine recommended this place. The atmosphere was clean, cool and contemporary. The staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. They have reasonably priced lunch specials with large portions. They even put hot sauce in the bag. They did however forget to put the collard greens in my bag which was very disappointing. They smothered fried chicken was decent. The Mac and cheese was ok, but not great. The potato salad tasted bland with no paprika which was kind of shocking. The yams were absolutely delicious. Considering the fact that first impressions are lasting impressions, I will be reluctant to return. It could have been an isolated incident or perhaps their best cook called out that day. The atmosphere seems very busy so I am sure you may or may not have a pleasant dining experience.

DONT take Uber or Door dash orders from here. The food smells bad and it always leaks. They costed me a bad rating, now I'm giving them one.

I had the catfish with cabbage and Spanish rice. Very good. My husband had the chicken and waffles which turned out to be wings and a waffle. Service was good. The reason why I gave them 3 stars is because never in my life have I sat down for a meal and ordered drinks and got charged separate bills for the bar and my food. I think that's some BS.

I ordered the chopped barbecue with Mac and cheese and potatoe salad it was delicious babe I'm coming back here once a month dine in during lunch time next I'm going to try out there cocktails

I CANNNNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. Been coming here for years, before they were even on google maps and there food is THE BEST SOUL FOOD i think i’ve had. Dining in for me is a bit rough as i like a quiet space to eat and the inside seems to want to go for a club-like vibe and if that’s your style then definitely dine in. I usually do take out and just writing thus review i can feel my mouth drooling thinking of those candied yams, pulled pork, collard greens, the list goes on and on. A MUST for anyone in the region.

I was in the Bridgeport area and decided to stop for Sunday Brunch. I went online and found this place close by. The atmosphere was really nice and cute, nicely decorated and cozy. The waitress was very sweet, and the bartender was adorable. The food was good. they didn't have much available from the menu, which sucked, but it was definitely worth the try. The fish was good,the wings were good, the cornbread was good, the mac and cheese was good, the collard greens and potatoe salad were not that good. but it wasn't that bad. The drinks were amazing, strong, and good. That rum punch was one of the best I've had in CT. The taste and the right amount of rum, bartender-Milk, hooked it up😉. I would definitely go back and check out other items from the menu.Ooh and the DJ. had me jamming.
