Hands down best fried chicken around. The j*** chicken and Mac and cheese is also always so tasty and has the perfect amount of seasoning. Surrounding restaurants in Bridgeport can not compare to the j*** chicken and fried chicken served by Uncle Joes. We will always be customers!

I went with the soul food and it wasn’t good. Maybe the Caribbean food is better. The fried chicken was good, but not the yams or greens. The macaroni and cheese is doable.

I enjoy eating at Uncle Joe’s restaurant. I travel from Stratford to get a good meal. I can taste all the authentic seasoning and flavor in the food. It’s the best around. Love the j*** sauce.

I really enjoyed the food here. Came here with two friends and we shared a plate of chicken and waffles as an app, it was really good. The Pinot grigio I ordered was ok but the manager/owner came around and got me another glass and that one tasted much better so I appreciate that. The rice and beans, the veggies, and the chicken I ordered was really good. We all really enjoyed the food we ate and I really loved the music. Definitely would love to come back.

The chicken and waffles taste really good and if you sometimes listen to jamaican music then the it was ok. But if you like it then you will enjoy self but I wish they played the entire song then the 1st 3 mins of every song

Food was not good! $5 plates are too small. I left there and went to Yard J*** on East Main got a $5 special with more flavor annd a bigger plate
