Hate to be the low review guy, and hey maybe I caught them on a bad day. But, I ordered the beef Pho and, it had very little meat, good flavor but way too little for the price. They didn't have any complimentary veggies that traditionally go with pho, bean sprouts, basil, the wings were ok, very little quantity for the price, and they had a 5 item menu. Maybe it will get better? I don't know, but I rather go to a place I know will be good.

Bridgeport finally have a great Vietnamese restaurant! Parking is great. We ordered ice tea lemonate, Wings, fried rolls, rice with porkchop and achicken and beef pho ? The food was delicious. Service was great. Place is very clean. Definitely will be my second home.

Me and my family went here last, last, last week and I loved it here. The pho and egg rolls was delicious. Not only the food was good but the worker/owner was extremely welcoming and kind also the environment in this restaurant is very clean and kinda modern so it feels like ur at a coffee shop in South Korea or Vietnam. This makes me want to come back here again in the near future.

I had a lovely experience at VanDo Pho today. The interior of the restaurant is so minimalistic, clean, aesthetically pleasing and overall very inviting. I personally tried their chicken Pho and it was delicious. I mean I literally scarfed the whole bowl! The food was very clean and nutritious, the serving amount was huge in my opinion which was obviously a plus. Not only that but the young men who work there are very polite and attentive to your needs. If you’ve never tried Vietnamese food and you’re looking to fulfill that experience, I recommend this place 100 percent. It’s authentic and really embraces the beautiful culture. I’m actually excited to go back and explore the menu. Thank you to Peter as well for his kindness and hospitality. I will definitely be bringing my family and friends back very soon!

There's a new(ish) Vietnamese restaurant in town and it's well worth a try. VanDo Pho is owned by the guy who also owns Yankee Discount Muffler, which is right next store, and yes, he's the guy who stars in his own TV commercial with his grandkids. Anyway, he was there last night and is a really nice person. He told us that he wants everyone to be able to enjoy delicious Vietnamese food that's also healthy -- and everything we ate last night really was delicious and felt healthy. We started off with his homemade limeade and that was very tasty. The tart and the sweet flavors had a perfect balance. We ordered what they called eggrolls but to me were really friend spring rolls. They were crispy, flavorful and not a bit greasy. We then had the grilled pork chops over rice and the shrimp pho. The pork chop had a good flavor and the pho broth was really nice, as were the shrimp. The restaurant was not that busy so we hope that more people discover and try it. They have a parking lot and the restaurant is right on Boston Avenue so the next time you're thinking of going out for Vietnamese please give VanDo Pho a try.

First time going to this Vietnamese restaurant. I love pho and I've been to Vietnamese restaurants in the Fairfield county and New Haven county. One thing I noticed right away when I ordered was there was not enough meat, noodles, scallions, and sprouts. I could tell that they tried to save money by skimping on the ingredients. The soup was delicious though. But I'm not sure if I'm coming back when I get more noodles and meat from other restaurants paying the same or less price. I got out of the restaurant still feeling hungry. I hope they improve their serving to keep customers coming back or else they will keep losing customers.

I tried this place for the first time and it’s was horrible. Couldn’t even finished the pho. We had the fresh spring rolls and beef pho... First of all the spring rolls. I’ve eaten at a lot of Asian and Vietnamese place and not a single one of them put pickled carrots and radish(the veggies they put in the barn mi sandwich) in their spring rolls which made it hella sour. And their pho broth is so bland. The noodles was in bits n pieces and mushy like it was old. And there’s more to seasoning your pho with just hoisin and sriracha...first time and definitely my last time.
