I’ve tried to give this place multiple chances, but unfortunately the customer service continues to be disappointing. This was my third bad experience.
I placed a pickup order and was told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I arrived 35 minutes later, and the order still wasn’t done. When I politely asked how much longer it would be, the cook in the back rudely told the cashier that there’s no timeframe for when the order will be done. The tone and attitude were completely unnecessary.
I’ve also noticed that the owner seems to have an ungrateful sense of entitlement, and unfortunately that attitude appears to have rubbed off on some of the staff. The cashiers have always been nice, which is the only positive part of the experience.
As for the food, the meals I’ve had have either been too salty or overpriced for the quality. On my most recent visit, I also noticed the floor was sticky, to the point where my shoes were literally sticking when I walked.
I really wanted to like this place and support the business, but after several poor experiences, I can’t say I’ll be returning.

Veganish is absolutely the most delicious vegan food I have ever had. The owners are warm, welcoming, and incredibly pleasant, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I’m not vegan, my husband is, but I would honestly rate this place 10 out of 10. The food is incredible, flavorful, and so satisfying that you truly won’t miss the meat! 🌱✨

I’ve been vegan for 9 years and Veganish is my favorite vegan restaurant! Healthy, nutritious, and DELICIOUSLY seasoned vegan food!! I tried a lot on the menu and never been disappointed. The food always hits! My fave dish is the vegan curry. It is chef’s kiss!

Wow I’m not sure if I even have the words first and foremost kudos to the chef amazing the food was so good one of the best if not thee best yes I dare say it vegan restaurants I’ve been to and there’s been plenty the Mac and cheese bomb!!! The wraps delicious sweet potato fries were really good we ate there and ordered food to take home for later because we live in a different part of CT spent over $150 for multiple options around 8 or so definitely worth it oh and the menu doesn’t do it justice follow them on Instagram Veganish_ct

Don’t let the name fool you, everything on the menu starts out vegan. This somewhat bizarre menu gives the option to add egg or tuna to anything of your choice. Anything not vegan, including pastries, are clearly labeled. If you avoid those items, however, you have a vegan’s paradise. The food is affordably priced, delicious, and comes out quickly. The staff was informative, kind, and happy to answer questions. This is some genuinely delicious food in an otherwise not very vegan friendly city. I highly recommend it!

This was my first time going to Veganish Cafe in Bridgeport and when I tell you it did NOT disappoint!
I ordered the SWEET CHILLI spinach wrap with oyster mushrooms and added vegan bacon (because I LOVE bacon ðŸ˜). I also got the sweet potato fries and a brownie… and baby everything was GOOD. I ATE IT BEFORE I COULD MAKE IT HOME. And listen… I even mixed all three of my drinks together (I wish I remembered the names 😩) but it was still hitting!
