Delivery. Iron horse got CHEAP! The box was 1/4 empty. 12 peices of chicken used to take up the entire box. This time 12 of the smallest peices. Not worth $36 any more. Google isn't letting me post the picture for some reason.

Great location in a beautiful old bank. Service was good, slow but more from only having one waitress working all the tables. Food was good bar food level and ton of tv screens to watch.

My wife and I stopped by on Wednesday May 6 for drinks at the end of the day. Michelle was on duty and as always had a great time with great service and interaction with her. The next shift bartenders was however extremely unprofessional. Gruff and unfriendly. Loud slamming down metal tumblers, banging mixers on the bar to get them to pour. Having spent years in the industry as a bartender, bouncer and catering we were to say the least a little put back by her professionalism. Being foodies (New England Eating) we spend quite a bit of our free time trying new places. We have always had a great time at the Iron Horse with great food, drinks and pleasant staff, however if we come in and this bartender is on shift we will not be staying.

Had the mashed potato bowl and wife had the steak sandwich. Absolutely phenomenal. So much flavor. And I’m very picky. Inside the old bank is set up with TV’s on every wall. Vault door is the main piece of the bar. It’s very clean and the employees are very professional and cool to talk too. Definitely need some kind of live music on the weekends. I’ll be coming back for food. When they get music I’ll be back for that too.

1st time experience. Arrived at 11:10pm. Ordered food at 11:30pm, didn't get food til 12am. 2 chicken sliders, kitchen closes at 12am. Service was slow. Atmosphere is nice and historic. Jukebox did not work when trying to play music.

I have been to iron horse a handful of times but the most recent experience solidified my opinion. My friend and I were excited to get some drinks and an app to split. We sat at the bar and a few employees looked in our direction but didn’t acknowledge that we were there. Then, a few gentlemen came and sat next to us. Immediately they were served and we were still overlooked. We waited for at least 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge our existence. As someone who comes from the restaurant business, I was so turned off by the way we were completely ignored while sitting right at the bar. A simple, “we will be right with you!” If busy, would have done the trick. But unfortunately, it was not even busy at all. Dining room was empty and bar was not even full. We ended up just walking out because we were irritated.

I've always enjoyed this place but I wanted to place pick up order last night. When I called person answered saying nane of different restaurant iron horse is affiliated with. I asked to place order for iron horse and in very sharp tone was told he's to busy (on a Tuesday) that I needed to order online. After ordering online at about 7:15 pm app said food would be ready about 20 min. I pulled up to drive thru at 7:40 and sat there for 15 min to have same guy from phone very irritated by phones ringing and ppl picking up ordered. He half acknowledged me then took literally another 20 min to bring food to window. So after 35 min at drive thru he thought had wrong order brought back to kitchen. Finally after 10 more min I was on my way with my order just to get home and have things missing. I've always felt the staff there is quite slow however nice, beautiful establishment, good food but I will never get take out there again and will not frequent inside as much as use to. There's no way to contact anyone to address it.

Got to Iron Horse around 6:15/6:20 was seated immediately! A group of people came in about 3-6 minutes after us. Someone brought them water, while we are still just sitting there. I'm looking around and notice that someone across from us has drinks but their menu is still in front of them so I asked if they had ordered food yet. They said no. About 6 minutes pass and the table that was seated after us gets a waiter. He takes their drink order and walks away so I call him over and told him we were here before them and I mentioned that the other table was here before us and they did not order. He said he will get our waitress. She's comes 10 minutes later. I told her the table across from us was still waiting to order if she wanted to take their order first. She said they have a different waiter. I said ok. We all ordered our drinks and food. My little one was board so we all played monopoly on my phone. Now at this point our drinks come that took about 5 minutes I was ok maybe it will get better. NOPE! We waited about 40 minutes and I used the bathroom. I came out of the bathroom and my food and my youngest food was at the table. So we waited till my fiancé and oldest got her food. That was about 5-6 minutes of waiting. Great we can eat now. My food is cold. Like not even warm to the touch. My little one's food is cold. My fiancé and oldest daughter there food was a little warm. I ate 1/2 of my chicken before I got a stomach ache and used the bathroom. We paid (took about 10 minutes to get a check) and left. They were not even packed. I won't go there again for dinner. But I do hear lunch is good so I'll give it one more try.
