The hostess was so rude, that we decided to leave even before looking at the menu. We didn’t care to give it a chance after being treated so poorly when asking for a table.
Used to love coming to this place but it’s nothing like what it was when it first opened. Last time I ate here in December, we had a male server who was miserable and made us feel like we were an inconvenience for dining there. That same server made a group of women next to us so uncomfortable that they almost left. The tofu sandwich I ordered and used to love was tasteless and sloppy. I thought maybe this was a one time issue.
Today I stopped in to grab lunch with a group of 6 and my baby and the woman at the front with the black & white hair and piercings was even more miserable than the male server last time I came here. I noticed a table large enough for my group had just gotten their check and mentioned that it was good timing since it looked like they were about to leave and that table would work great for us. She had a nasty attitude and told me she couldn’t make them leave (obviously, I wasn’t expecting that) and then asked if we really wanted to squeeze in there… I asked her if there were any other options for a group of our size and there were not so we planned to wait until the table I mentioned was free and ready, which was plenty big enough. Then we heard her co-workers talking about her attitude and joking around like it was funny and we decided to leave. I know there’s a shortage of staff in the area but damn, the staff here the worst. That’s the last time I’ll attempt to dine here.

This tiny hole of a restaurant was interesting. Small menu with items like eggs with homefries and a slice of toast (just one?!) to cheeseburgers. Food was mediocre like any place and didn't get any coffee items because of pricing. We went elsewhere for that. Very small place with 2 maybe 3 servers and an overrated fluffed up menu. My husband had gotten his wisdom teeth so he ordered just a plain omelette and homefries and toast. Homefries liked like he was eating charcoal and the toast was in-house made. Service was okay and the server forgot to grab hot chocolate. Luckily we weren't charged. You can pretty much get food elsewhere for a cheaper price.

This restaurant has consistently delicious food. We’ve been 3 times, each has been excellent! Lots of different drink choices. The french toast is amazing! The service is great and the whole place has a with friendly vibe.

Great atmosphere but out waiter never put our order in, resulting in us sitting there for half an hour waiting for simple egg sandwich dishes. Wouldn’t recommend especially if you’re on a tight schedule. Cool location for car spotting though.

Very good breakfast sandwich had. Excellent service and ambiance too. It was very welcome as I had been staying in an Airbnb without breakfast and was on a bicycle expedition.
Nice location, nice seating, friendly staff. I've had several items but I couldn't rave about any. The tomato soup was the best of the 5 things I had.
Try their affogato and thank me later

The most delicious fresh turkey club I’ve ever had. We had the Hawaiian melt and the French toast.. flavor combinations were delightful. Not to mention one of the best Americano coffees around! Highly recommend!!

This experience was a crappy lesson of looks can be deceiving. Not every busted looking establishment is bad, and not every aesthetically pleasing one is good. While this wasn't a shiny turd, the food was above average at best but pricey (like everything else is), and it's unwelcoming if you're not a local. I drive twice a week from Danbury to great barrington. I was curious about this place for awhile and finally stopped in.
The parking is terrible. Only like 10 spaces. if it's full you have to pull over by the mohawk trail which can be dangerous because of how fast people drive on this often quiet road and it can get busy.
Had a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel that was an additional $2 because I didn't want the English muffin and 2 smallish hash browns. The only meat substitute was vegan sausage 💀 please consider having turkey products. It was decent, above average but I would not go out of my way to return. Also had a loaded rice krispie which was good.
The service was suuuper slow and I was getting increasingly uncomfortable. If you don't want outsiders here, pick up the pace so they can get their food and go!
Go here if you're hungry from a hike, but pass this if you're a weary and hungry traveler or from out of state/outside the area. It's a shame because the interior is quite gorgeous and if not for the unfriendly locals I would have eaten inside. So it's a solid 3 to a 3.25.
