The food here is very good. Ate here for the first time for brunch on my birthday. Everything I ate was extremely fresh and flavorful. The dressing for the house salad was very good, the chicken tacos were some of the best I’ve had, but weren’t that hot when they came out, and omlettes and home fries are very good too. Only complaint I had was regarding the service. I can tell the service is generally good, but it seems like maybe I got unlucky. Our food was taking very long and we expected the salad and tacos to come out first since they were appetizers, but they did not. We were also brought the wrong omlettes initially so they had to be remade. Our waitress was still very nice, though, and our experience was good overall.

Our lunch was perfect!l My friends and I stopped at this lovely little restaurant on a scenic drive from Massachusetts with no idea of what it would be like. The restaurant is small but charming, white walls and lots of windows. It was just about full, but it wasn't noisy. One of us ordered the pancakes that were so fluffy and tasty they hardly needed the raspberry compote, which was so delicious that my friends used it all. My other friend and I had omelettes, the basil for her and the dill for me. They were perfect, served with crunchy home fries and hearty bread. The waitstaff was pleasant and responsive. I intend to return, in spite of the long drive.

Stopped by this lovely cafe today for brunch. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and the menu had something for everyone in our group of 5 adults, 1 child, and a baby. Our group ordered the pork belly sandwich, the omelets, kid's pancakes, burger, and prosciutto flatbread with strawberries (see photo - one slice already eaten!). Everything was perfectly executed. Wish we lived close by to come here regularly!Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free toast and pastry offerings!Kid-friendliness: Kids' coloring sheet & menu, baby changing stations in two single bathroomsWheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking spots, entrance, and bathrooms

What a cute spot! Had an amazing salad and decided to add on the special cabbage tomato soup. What a blast from my past-just like eating a bowl of my grandmothers soup. Burgers and fries were amazing too. Coffee was spot on. Service was attentive from start to finish. Definitely stop if you're in the area.

Not as good as it used to be. Sad to say but they cater way to much the weekenders rather than those that live here all the time.

Came here while driving around the area exploring and touring. Had some excellent sandwiches (myself the house-roasted turkey and my wife the prosciutto). Both were good sized and very fresh. The service was friendly and the atmosphere laid back. This really hit the spot while stopping off on our travels. Highly recommended.

Absolutely sublime brunch! I had the pesto omelette, my husband the apple pancakes. The entire experience exceeded all expectations. The staff were gracious and anxious to please. Only wish the music was a touch quieter. Over the top by a mile , thank you all. Diane W.

I stop at Mountainside Cafe a couple of times every year.  Always get great service and food!  Today I had the Country burger... It was  excellent!  They have a limited menu, so check their website for the current menu.

The cafe is so cute! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! But the best part is the food! My wife and I have been twice! The omelettes and the prosciutto sandwich were outstanding! On our most recent visit we had a breakfast wrap and pork belly grilled cheese...sooo good. We will be back soon!

My breakfast was so good that I could cry right now. I almost stood up and clapped after I finished eating because I liked it so much. I got the John Wayne skillet and the maple latte...SO good.
