We eat at lunas in Naugatuck faithfully and have never had an issue so we wanted to try their other location being that they are family and I ordered a chicken pizza paid and told the owners daughter who was at the register how I saw them on barstool and was excited to try the pizza and etc I was told you will receive a text when it’s done and it should be about 35 min no problem thank you I waited 35 minutes passed 40 min 45min 50 min and mind you there are people ordering and people dining in and getting pizzas quicker 55-min I asked how much longer I was told should be coming out the owner told her why didn’t she tell him it was a walk in than an hour comes and I’m like forget this I walk up to say I want to cancel the order and she tells me oh this is your pizza sorry for the wait would you like a Free soda I said no but that it was wrong that I had to wait over an hour for a small chicken pizza she goes oh we were busy I said that’s fine but I was told 35 min than I mentioned again the people who came in and were eating there pizza even after they ordered and sat after I ordered mine she goes DINE IN IS PRIORITY 🤔 so my card swipes like there my money is green like there’s and I’m a human being like them…

BAD EXPERIENCE FOR SURE WAS TURNED OFF AND PROBABLY WOULD NEVER GO BACK JUST BECAUSE OF THAT..

Sux cause the pizza was decent..

Heads up when thinking of going here there is a real possibility you might have the same experience….

In bed at 5am writing this review a week after the fact, so that should say a thing or two about how good these guys’ pizza is. Driving down to New Haven for a pie at one of the big three spots from where I live in Western Massachusetts has long been a favorite weekend trek. That trek is definitely going to happen a lot less, since seeing the One Bite review of this gem and then trying it myself. The mozzarella pie is probably the best that I’ve ever had. Period. Excellent char and the sauce is insane. I’m sensitive to dough and get really bloated easily. Fuoco’s crust is just a little thicker than, say, Sally’s, but it’s light and airy and I get no reaction from it, which tells me it’s great quality. Everyone really should have access to pizza this good….there would be a helluva lot less trash pies out there in the world. And the prices are affordable. I loved my pie so much I made the hour drive back down three days later on NYE. I ordered four pies for a party and almost stepped back in to get another because I ate three slices in the parking lot before pulling off haha. It’s that good. On a final note, I had no wait either time and the staff was friendly as ever and made me feel really welcome. They deserve ALL the recognition!

Trash ass spot. Never correct with times for pick up and never text when ready. Just what I want is some soggy ass pizza. Definitely recommend the brother Luna Woodfired in Naugatuck and the buddies spot Anna's Apizza in Prospect!

pizza is one of my favorite ever. Little space, but comfortable. Friendly fast service, pizza brought to your table. Zero complaints, well worth the trip out of the way.

First time coming here because was told by some friends the pizza is really good. The only problem is that I feel that some of the staff is racist or they automatically label you for being Hispanic when all the kitchen staff (the ones that do all the dirty work) are Mexican. We asked for garlic powder to put on our pizza and one of the girls charging at the register mind you she was not the one taking care of us,the nicer cashier was. Asked for the garlic shaker like we gonna steal it. Number one, we are not thief’s, I never stoled a day in my life. And I don’t appreciate being labeled just for being Hispanic. That was uncalled for and is this how you make your customers feel welcome because it was the whole opposite. And the way she looked at us was like we were from another planet. If she was paying attention and was so worried about the garlic shaker she would of seen that hand it to the cashier that was actually taking care of us. Is year 2024 we all human.

I was in town for a truck show definitely wanted to try this place for the longest time. Pizza is absolutely amazing. I was hoping to hear Pantera Blair over the radio from the kitchen but I got to see the master Pizza maker. Place is awesome ,definitely need to go and check it out. I'll be back again, 🤘😁

Parking: Plenty of parking in the rear of the building. There's also a door on the back side of the building to get inside.

We've had some inconsistency in the past but thought we'd try it again. We ordered 2 pies and a cheese bread, and two entrees.

The money hots pie was perfect. Crust nice, thin, and crispy. Flavor was awesome.
My half double roni, half cheese was super disappointing. Crust was thick, not fully cooked, and just missed.
Cheese bread had almost no cheese and was super dry.
The entrees look amazing and will be eaten this week!

Overall, not an awful experience and we will likely try again but my pizza was sad. Takeout process was phenomenal. I called, was told.id get a text, and I did.

great pizza. would just warn you DO NOT order online. we ordered one pizza online and got their 30 minutes later and were told it would be just a few minutes. after waiting for another 40 minutes we asked again how long it would be and were told wait times for a pizza online are upwards of an hour (which was not stated anywhere online). all of this while people came in, ordered at the counter and left before we did with multiple pizzas. the pizza was very good, no complaints as far as the quality. i would just say it may not be worth the horrible service if you are in any semblance of a hurry.

I was in town for work, and this place had been on my radar for a while. I was definitely not disappointed. They have lots of different things on the menu, but I came specifically for the pizza. They offer quite a few specialty pizzas in both red and white sauce varieties. I wasn't feeling too creative, so I picked one off the list, the Fuoco Special.
Outstanding crust, plenty of toppings, and cooked perfectly. Crispy on the bottom and sides with a few charred spots you would want/expect from a coal fired oven. Their red sauce has to be the stand-out ingredient that differentiates Fuocos pizzas from others. It's not quite as sweet as many others and has a unique flavor profile I can't quite define. It's a bit more bitter/acidic than I've had before, but not in an off-putting way. I guess it's just something you have to try for yourself. I'd say it's definitely worth the trip, and I'll be making sure next time I'm in the area, I'll be adding the other 2 of "The 3 Kings" to my stops!

In my opinion this was better than anything I’ve had from Pepe’s in New Haven.

I wasn’t even going to write a review, my friend and I went to your restaurant for the first time, we got treated like we were going to steal a da*m garlic shaker and my friend left a review and all you do is say that’s false claims (owner) when in fact that did happen and I was there, instead of saying I apologize for your experience, you come at him like if he’s making false claims, I bet you if you ask both of the girls that work there they will know for a fact that this happened, and one of the girls was actually nice, the one that is racist wasn’t even taking care of us, she was just worried about a damn garlic shaker and looking at us all weird from the beginning, like if we going to put a garlic shaker in our pockets, like come on really ? We can buy 20 of those or more, I normally like to add Parmesan cheese, chilli peppers and Oregano but I didn’t even dare ask for the rest of the shakers because if she thought I was going to steal the Garlic shaker imagine the rest of them, why would we be making this up ? You wasn't even there (owner) my friend even personally wrote you a message on Instagram and you haven't even responded but you come on here to act like we have to lie about this, instead of responding a personal message and maybe talking to your girls so they can treat customers with respect, because if I had a restaurant and she came over and I treated her that way she would leave a worst review, your food is great, I loved the pizza I loved the cheese steak egg rolls and what I have tried so far, that didn’t stop me from coming back but my review could’ve been better if it wasn’t for your response, I wasn’t going to say anything. I bet you responded without even asking them girls about this. You do what you want and how you want to do it, it’s your business but just because we are saying our experience at your restaurant doesn’t mean we are making false claims and accusations because they are in fact 100% true. Let them know that very few people are interested in stealing garlic shakers, we are Hispanic but we both make good money and we can deffinetly afford 20 or more garlic shakers if we really needed them that bad.
