We had my husband’s 80th birthday party here. The food and service were EXCELLENT, as usual. We’ve been patrons for over 40 years and continue to make the trip even though we live 45 minutes away. Best pizza in CT.
It was our first time eating at Rossini's. Ordered Florentine cod. Soggy and salty, everything was literally swimming in wine sauce. My husband's Sunday Special - 7 scallops in vodka sauce was a disappointment too. Our first time and last time there. Not the same quality meals I ate in Italy. Luckily nice cooks and waitresses except for the older lady at the table sipping her espresso. Not even a simple greeting or a smile.
Have never been dissappointed with Rossini's. The staff work really hard too. Ate there tonight and everything was great once again

The restaurant, located near New Haven, is known for its fresh, mouth-scolding pies, as well as its calzones and parm dishes. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and prompt. It offers excellent Italian-style pizza with a great crust and delicious sauce. The bruschetta is amazing and all the food was delicious. You still get a huge pizza with the same quality ingredients, providing a great service and food with a family vibe.
