“We’ve passed by Fuoco for years and finally had a good opportunity to pick up takeout for a gathering at a friend’s house nearby. Definitely a smaller place, so you’ll want to call ahead or come early if you want a table. Delicious pizzas with just the right amount of char to our liking. I especially liked the sauce on the margherita. We liked their buffalo wings and fried dough bites as well. Glad to support them and would definitely return!“

“My son and I went today for lunch. I have been wanting a pistachio martini since I saw it made from the happy bartender with the huge smile. I didn’t get her name but see her on the Christos fb videos. Did not disappoint was delicious. She is a great bartender and a wonderful waitress l. We sat in the bar area and it was enjoyable as it wasn’t loud and the table gave us plenty of room for our meal. Brussels Sprouts were delicious as always I had a Cajun wrap and my son had a huge salad loaded with chicken and avocado 🥑 I remember Christos when it was in the plaza and the food never disappoints. I also enjoy the daily family specials text to me. If you haven’t signed up to get the daily specials text to you do it. So many great meals to pick up and bring home. There’s two different specials. Every day lunch and dinner. Give Christos a try if you haven’t been you won’t be disappointed. I live in West Haven but my son is lucky enough to live in North Haven and pick up from Christos on his way home from Westport.“

The end product as well as the prices, which are slightly high, but absolutely worth it considering the quality. In addition to great pizza the wings at Whitney are amazing. Huge, meaty, super flavorful, FRESH wings are very hard to avoid.
They are open super late (between 1-3am while school is in session at The Q. Primarily takeout & delivery (they have a couple of tables and a few barstools), however the place is very clean. Even the restroom is glistening.

If you are traveling on the Merritt or I-91 a pit stop at Whitney pizza is the pro move.“

“Having an outside party? THIS is the best food truck to hire! Today, June 21,2025, I’m at my niece’s graduation party & this food truck was amazing! It’s like having a personal restaurant on your lawn. The pizza was fantastic -THE BEST- actually! Frank made me a gluten free pizza with potato, bacon & carmelized onions. Oh my goodness! It has to be the BEST GF pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Super thin, well cooked! I can’t say enough good things about this pizza. He made all types of pizza. Very organized, clean and so delicious! Wonderful people to talk to! Then they have other services like Gelato Giuliana-between the pizza and the gelato-it is the best of New Haven! “TL/DR: Slightly above average food taste, but a nice chill spot with friendly staff. And relatively moderately priced for lunch. Got a specialty slice and a can of coke for $5.50, so pretty good!

Stopped in to grab a slice quick omw between jobs. Friendly staff and decent selection of pies to choose from. Pizza I got was a white pie with chicken, broccoli, and I'd assume garlic and such... it was ... DECENT for sure. WISH that they had a Margerita pizza for a sllice, but wasn't that lucky... womp womp... Nothing to write home about, but ABSOLUTELY much better than most places in the valley and chain establishments. FOOD WAS 3.5/3.75, but no option for half stars... again, even crappy pizza is still pizza...but this WASN'T crappy by any means, just a LITTLE bland IMO. Would DEF stop in again to try a grinder or a red pie.“
