Awful! Awful in every way! Food, portions, service, and soooo overpriced! Will never go back! Spent so much money, and not only we were still hungry, we left with very bad taste in our mouths!

Our waitress was exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable, the food was beyond the most delicious.

The only issue with this restaurant is the availability of parking. Yep, I had to walk 1/2 a mile. But that is a small price for this outstanding dining experience. From creative cocktails to wonderful warm house made bread and an entree menu that is ever evolving. Don't miss dessert because you are in for a real treat. This may be Connecticut's best restaurant. Enjoy walking the village of Chester. It is a classic New England storybook village.

Fourth return visit. Our meals and service were all outstanding. Lovely decorations setting for the holidays. Overall an excellent experience.

The chicken dish with leeks and gnocchi was simply outstanding. Puffs of deliciousness in a unbelievable sauce. Kudos to the chef!

This is a must stop for anyone visiting CT- if you're from CT I am sure you have to know how great this place is-I am so glad I stopped in on my vacation. This was hands down some of the best food I have ever eaten! The cocktails were masterfully created amd perfectly balanced. Pasta made in house and cooked perfectly al dente, the penne ala vodka with guanciale was the the absolute best I have ever had! Honey nut squash with whipped ricotta and pumpkin seed pesto was such a treat and a perfectly balanced bite. The service was impeccable, lovely wait staff that are so attentive. 10 out of 10

I made an online reservation for six, I needed to add a guest to increase the reservation to 7. This changes everything!! You have to email the owner, preselect your meals from an prefixed menu, give them a 50% deposit before you come and there will be a 22% gratuity. This was just all a bit more than I was willing to put upon my guests for a Saturday dinner out. I emailed the owner to let them know that I was so disappointed by all of this and found it very off-putting, just to increase my head count by one. I received a non-apologetic snarky email. I would have been much less offended if the email was kind and apologetic, but it was not!

What a treat to dine at Grano Arso. The detailed rotating menu, locally sourced ingredients, and thoughtfully curated cocktails. Enjoyed our dinner and can’t wait to return. I did the prix fix menu and did not regret that. The pasta is all house made, bread house made, butter, you guessed it, in house. Beets appetizer is the best beets I have ever had, the acidity, hazelnuts, crunch from the cabbage, exquisite. The chef clearly is passionate about their craft. Can’t wait for my next visit!

This was hands down the best meal my husband and I have had in years of dining! The food was fresh and full of flavor. Our server, Lauren, was lovely and we were even brought a flute of champagne for our anniversary that we were not expecting.....a thoughtful touch. The restaurant was full so the noise level was a bit high, but the food and service more than made up for that. We would highly recommend this wonderful establishment and will be coming back again soon.

Bread is great. The place is bustling. The mussel meat was shrunk down to the size of fingernails in a delicious broth. They've got to fatten those babies up or not overcook them. The Town is decked out for Halloween. Parking is still impossible, but somehow, we always manage. I am so happy they are here, because before, there was nothing.

Wow, food was delightful, service was attentive but not too much so. Had an interesting conversation with the bartender about amaros. The weekly prix fix menu was an excellent deal .

Orsa is always phenomenal. However w the pop up it was little busier. Less attentive by staff. Longer wait periods for drinks n food. Also this Vietnamese pop up was amazing however, the chef did an injustice to the food my preparing the food not as seasoned as Vietnamese food suppose to be. The chef accommodated the masses rather than the splendor of flavors, salty n spicy flavors that Vietnamese food suppose to taste like. I would have enjoyed it more if the food was more original n flavorful ! But overall delicious

Grano Arso every so often presents special Vietnamese meals instead of Italian meals. Their Vietnamese Pho Bo with an aromatic Wagyu Beef Noodle Soup served With Basil, Lime and Bean Sprouts was soul satisfying. And their Bun Tom Nuong (Seared Shrimp Noodle Salad served with Herbs, Greens and Citrus Vinaigrette) was very tasty, light, and lovely to view. Other Vietnamese tempting choices were available as well on this special evening. Desserts of Lychee, Tapioca, and Coconut milk and an Espresso Affogato with Vanilla Gelato were a delicious way to end a great Vietnamese meal.

Food and service were outstanding. Cocktails were exceptional. We will definitely return to try the seasonal menu.
