We happened to be in town around lunch time and decided to give this restaurant a try after viewing the menu posted outside. The bar area was very busy so we opted to sit in the dining room. The table top was different from others in the room and quite sticky. Our waitress was quite engaging and soon took our orders of bowls of chili. The chili was satisfying both in size and flavor. On receiving our check I was a bit disappointed to discover our glasses of cola cost $3.95 each...

This wonderful Chester icon is climbing back to stardum. Our old, reliable staples of fish and chips and hot dogs hit it out of the park on Saturday evening.

We could go on, but most people know what I'm saying. A few more chips, and if a family didn't bring a barking pup (oops, that was us), it could have been perfect.

Parking: Drop off your family. Leave your dog in the car with the air-conditioning ruining in this peaceful river...

The water bowl alone tells you all you need to know about the atmosphere of this place. Casual dining (we ate outside), decent food (my quesadilla was the envy of the table), fantastic service by our personable server.
