I recently moved to the area (family has lived here for decades, so I am aware of Beach Donut from my visits, but now I can go anytime!!!) and went to Beach Donut the very first morning here after my drive across the country. I have lived here about 4 months, and I go here perhaps 2x a week. They have a great selection of donuts, coffee, tea, sandwiches, etc, but I only order one donut per stop, and take it home to eat. My favorite donut shop whenever I’m in Connecticut! The donuts are always fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Amber and Saba always go above and beyond—they’re incredibly friendly and helpful every time I stop by. Great service and amazing treats—highly recommend! 🍩✨
This place is a local gem - stumbled upon this place randomly when i was randomly in the area looking for breakfast. I ordered a ham egg & cheese and a glazed donut, and greatly enjoyed both - some of the best in CT. The atmosphere is very barebones, and outdated, but in a charming sort of way.
