This restaurant is definitely the place to go when you want to take your time between courses and enjoy the food and people you are with. I like the 20% service charge(tip) added to bill. Keeps paying thoughtless as service is excellent. 5 stars on everything!”

“You will never leave hungry! All of their entrées are delicious and to die for. Portions are really overly big and the atmosphere is very cozy. This restaurant is in a real log cabin with a cozy fireplace during the Fall and Winter months. I give them five stars plus.”

“My family and I stopped here after a beach day yesterday. At first we were a little nervous because we were the only customers, but I’m so glad we stayed! (There were a number of people who did come in to pick up orders while we were there) There’s a small seating area inside along the wall and some tables with umbrellas outside. We got a party sized special for the four adults and chicken nuggets and a bacon burger for the kids. Both the kids’ entrees were delicious, especially the fries, which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But the pizza was the star! They kindly brought it out on two separate trays for us, so no one was stuck reaching over one another to grab more slices, and you definitely will be grabbing more! The crust was thin and crispy (but not like a cracker) with a little bit of a char on it. The top was loaded with toppings and the whole thing was delicious!!! I know the girls side each had three slices a piece, and I’m sure the guys side had just as many, and we were left with 6 slices to take home. I’m so sad this restaurant is so far from where I live, but it definitely has become our new place to eat after a beach day!”

“We found another one of the Greats today! Grand Apizza started off in the 1950’s and was in New Haven for 50 years! Then the dad, Fred Nuzzo sold the building and moved to Clinton. The same pizza and they opened 3 restaurants, Clinton, Guilford and Madison. The dad went to Clinton and so did we. Let me just say… the pizza is so good! The sauce is top 5. Endless crispy crust perfectly made… and tasty saucy sauce. The garden pie was also quite special with just the right amount of tangy balsamic vinegar! I was super happy to meet Fred’s son, Mike. You can tell he is very humble and proud of their amazing piece of pizza history. Legendary pizza today. 9.7 solid score for the cheese. The tomato pie was a 10. Perfect 10. It’s something that can only be experienced verses spoken about. The garden veggie was an 8.3. “Clinton Subway is always neatly organized and carries super fresh ingredients which makes for a comforting environment, and when you tie in how family oriented this business is there’s no beating the community feeling. It is run by two of the most caring and special people along with their lovely daughter who I have to say makes a pretty good sandwich, and I highly doubt that any customer will ever walk out the door empty handed or at-least without a free cookie!”

“honestly can’t complain. my favorite chinese food restaurant closed a couple years ago, so my family decided to try great wall. they’ve consistently been very good and the family that runs it is super nice, you can tell they put a lot of work in as a team to get things done.
to people complaining about a long wait time, i can ASSURE you that it’s only because you’re going in at their busiest time. no place is going to be empty on a friday evening, especially a takeout restaurant. you can see them working hard in the back room behind the counter. food is well worth the wait in my opinion, though i personally never wait very long (i show up when they tell me my food is ready, not well before like you can tell most ppl who complain about the wait do).
overall i can’t recommend them enough. small town family business, hearty food, and kind people, what more could you ask for? support these kind people if you can🫶❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“The best DD on i95 exit 63 in Connecticut near the Clinton Factory Outlets. The employees are very friendly and professional too. Always smiling. Bathroom very clean. Eat-in is favorable. Ample and super clean parking lots. Next door is ColdStone icecream... yummy. If you need emergency repairs on your phone, there is AT&T. The employees are superb. You could fix vacuum cleaners at Orec. If you are traveling with pets.. YES.. Petco is here too.. the employees know what they are doing.. and next door is Mattress Firm.. been there many times.. made me sleepy.

“We have been enjoying Chow for years and everything we have ever had from them has been delicious but yesterday… Father’s Day, they went above and beyond! They were packed and after waiting for a while for my take out order (understandable for a busy night) they confessed and profusely apologized because in the rush of the busy evening one of my pizzas had been dropped. Without missing a beat they promised my pizzas would be remade and delivered to my house…. Half hour away!!! That is stellar customer service!!! So, amazing food AND wonderful customer service, what more could anyone want?!”
