“Pretty chill spot and the food is good. The environment is homey. Good deal compared to other spots that will charge a pretty penny for less. They make do with what they have. The only reason it is not 5 stars is cause a Chimichanga should be fried. I don't think it was. Other than that, amazing!”
“Ten stars if I could, what a phenomenal place. We eat all over and know good food. From the portions to the service I can not say enough good things. The scrod Florentine was amazing! This place is a must try and we will continue to go back. Thank you for a delicious dinner and great night.”
“Awesome customer service! I had 4 employees ask if I needed anything. One even brought me a huge selection of hot sauces, unprompted. Regular coffee refills (note that despite their name, it’s not a place that has lattes etc.). The pineapple and cantaloupe in the fruit salad are actually ripe, which never happens. Lovely experience overall. Would definitely return.”
“Was down in Clinton visiting family. I stopped in for a quick beer as I was walking past, totally on a whim. Perfect cozy dive bar on the coastline. Bartender was quick and she was quite friendly. Do not change a thing.”
“Dined here with a party of 15. Private room upstairs was the perfect size. Wait staff was extremely accommodating and helpful in planning and executing a surprise for my father's 70th birthday. Only down side was that our waitresses seemed overwhelmed and forgot to bring out salads. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience and great food!”
“Westbrook Lobster was really good. The atmosphere was very good. The food was okay. My soup could have been hotter although it was very tasty. I would go back the service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.”
“Fantastic mom and pop very home style by the dock feel lobster place. Have to try it.Lobster roll is tasty and easy to eat as opposed to eating a messy lobster.Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.”
“So easy to miss this place--right across from Goodwill in Clinton. Best Drunken Noodles I've ever had. Loads of crisp veggies. Nice, clean place with great food.”
“This was a great little find for us! We went here for our first time recently! Walking in, it feels like an old school family pizza joint with big comfortable booths and friendly service. The pizza is definitely leaning towards New Haven Style, without being quite as charred. I ordered basil on my pizza and asked for as much extra basil as they could put on it. Places rarely do so when I ask, but Grand Apizza came through! My boyfriend had a pizza with sausage, and he loved it! We will definitely be returning!”
“Was in the area, and I'm kinda hard-wired to stop in at almost any Italian deli. So I stopped. And I ordered. Sausage and pepper sub w provy (amazing how we called them "wedges" where I grew up, "heroes" in the Bronx, and "grinders" where I currently live in northern CT).The sausage and peppers were very good, the bread not so much. Maybe it was the tomatoey/olive oil base, but the sub almost fell apart while I was eating it. Am used to the more substantial italian bread that really great Italian delis feature. Maybe a cold sub would've held up better. There is a wide assortment of hot foods (meatballs, chicken cutlets, eggplant, etc), and cold cuts. Prices reasonable. Bonus for featuring Foxon sodas.3.5 stars”
“Stopped by on our way through CT from Long Island. Was pleasantly surprised with how great this pizza was! A little on the greasy side but nothing you couldn’t pick up with a napkin. The only “negative” was the inside is very plain. Not a ton a decor, but that’s not really important. Would deff come ”
“Food was delicious however, way too expensive imo.$2 per wing and no deal when you get a double order.$15 for 3 small arincini balls. Also, make sure to review the bill. They miss charged us and had to fix it when I brought it to their attention.”
“We had a great night out, this past Saturday. I got the smash burger from the grill…awesome! The cover band was very good, perfect volume. It was also a pleasant surprise to find an open pool table. We most definitely will be back!”
“It's such a cute spot. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. They even have a room you can use for hibachi if you have a large party. They give you the option to sit at the sushi bar or table. They have plenty of parking and even have parking in the back if needed.”
“I'll start with this...when 2 friends and I walked in, we were asked if we had a reservation, we didn't. Their only reply was, "we don't have a table available at the moment".That's it! we were turned down! We asked a few more questions were able to get a reservation for 45 min later. The food was great, the wines were delicious. The wine tasting flights were about $18.”
