“It's a very cute little spot with a surprisingly welcoming tavern vibe. They are a hearth and fireplace away from peak cozy pub atmosphere. They have a good, and often rotating selection of beers, and the food I have tried has been good, and what I saw on other people's tables looked good. Definitely quality snacking to keep you drinking! The bartender was exceptionally friendly, and while juggling the crowd still made time to chat with us about beers and breweries. I have only been by a few times now, but it always makes me want to visit more often.Parking: Large parking lot in a plaza.“
“I have been to Tapville Social in Westbrook many times now, and it is amazing! I love the concept of self-pour. Instead of one beer, usually I will try like 4 ounces of a few different beers which is fun! It's like how 4 sliders are more fun than one big hamburger haha. And the normal prices are good, and the happy hour prices are 50% off and insane, on Wed. and Thurs! Lots of beers are 30 cents per ounce, so you can get a good craft beer for only $3.60. The only other way to do that is to get a time machine and go back to the year 1988. And as of this time, I do not possess said time machine!Besides the awesome self-pour, there is also a full bar, and lots of drinks in the fridges (Headway, Truly's, cider, wine, etc.). Also I've had food there a few times and it's great. It's also fun to hang out and chill there with friends, or even solo, since there are lots of fun table games like Uno, Ring Toss, Simon, and many more! Speaking of stuff to do, there are always fun events at this location too, like tastings, make your own food and drinks, poker, book clubs, and more!My only "complaint" is that Tapville is not in my backyard haha. If it were, I would pop over every day, and self-pour like there's no tomorrow! Alas, I am forced to drive a whole 12 minutes to this excellent location; I will survive! If someone is not able to have fun at this establishment, then they are probably the type of person who dislikes fun, puppies, and ice cream!There is something for everybody. There is even wine on the self-pour! I look forward to visiting this location again very soon, and popping over to Pepperidge Farm which is right around the corner too. Yum Goldfish! “We didn't eat, as the kitchen is staffed during lunch hours, and I often go in the late afternoon. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is great (train theme, since it's in an old station!) and prices are comparable. A great hometown bar that features Open Mics and Live Music in the evening.“

“Wandered in with a friend. We were looking for a quiet place to have a drink. Sat at the bar. The pinot noir was yummy so we stayed for another. Atmosphere warm and cozy. Service excellent. Stayed for dinner. Had the tagliarini with seared scallops. Amazingly good. I'm trying to figure out when I can go back. Glad to hear they are extending their hours to 7 days a week“
“I stumbled upon this gem. I was in the area due to a loved ones Dr appointment and had time for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised as I drove up to the restaurant and saw ocean views. Upon entering the restaurant, a nice cozy vibe came over me. I enjoyed a fluthy omelet prepared to perfection stuffed with fresh produce. I sat in a very comfortable booth with high backs near a window. There was a slight chill that made me wish I sat closer to the fireplace. The servers were pleasant and worked well together. This was a very pleasant experience.“

Come early to get a spot, place is small and fills in quickly.Parking: Plenty of parking on a Monday night in the off season, but weekends and peak season is a completely different story“

They do not offer cream based chowder, but the clear broth style chowder is very good.I like the PEI muscles, seared scallops and shrimp and linguine and clams. We love the specials!Today I had bacon wrapped filet mignon, asparagus and fingerling potatoes!My mom usually has the mussel appetizer which is a meal for her!My husband gets a different fish fish each time.The seafood is always fresh!I love the peartini! My husband loves all the bears on tap and the beer flights.The desserts are great too!The service is beyond out of this world whoever you get. But we usually have Robert who always takes great care of my mom.Today she also got the seafood stuffed mushrooms that were on the special list for dinner!They have an outdoor dining area for the summer!It’s about $10 per appetizer and $20-40 per dinner see menu in pictures!“
